Chapter 13: Gladyr's Proclamation

[Karxilia City / Morning / Proclamation]

Outside of the White Pyramid Palace theres thousands upon thousands of Haroxian and several Raxarians around all received the word that Gladyr will proclaim in the next morning. Everyone is looking at the entrance of the White Pyramid Palace. Amanda is with Verdin...

Amanda: (Talking with him) Im surprise you are not coming with them?

Verdin: How can I? Besides, Gladyr told me if i want to be part of the ceremony but i told her, that is something that you and our kids must do. They are the future of our nation, my duty is almost coming to an end...

Amanda: (Sighed) I know you will die...

Verdin: And the stars shall guide my path to eternity... (Looks again at the pyramids) I want to die in battle..... like my old master....

Amanda: Harux inspired you didn't he?

Verdin: Amanda... I'm a Brute... we always seek to die in a fight if there is one.... that's part of my species culture, of course not all of us are the same... My entire life has always been one with violence and blood... These years after the Red League crisis and the peace that has been was a strange era in my life... the peace it was until the damn Rydonians came back... it was weird...

Amanda: Verdin.... i really hope you find peace eternally when your time is up... You been trough a lot....

Verdin: (Puts his left arm on her back) Everything will be fine darling.... You have always been one of my best friends you know...

Amanda: I wish you were my own father.... (Sad face)

Verdin: I have always behaved like one to you.... i don't know if you notice but since you came... i tried being a father figure to you after what you told me years ago back on your home...

Amanda: I did notice it... and thank you for all the moments you gave me.... (Chuckled) I will never forget those hide and seek games you and I we did back in the forest... You really good at being the predator....

Verdin: (Laughing) Darling! (Hugs her) When this war is over.... I want you to go out and beyond... and to the infinite... you hear....

Amanda: (Finished hugging him) Wait.... what do you mean by that?

Verdin: I want you to explore space.... To go back up there... you belong to the stars...

Amanda: (Looking at the skies and seeing the two moons and the rings going around Haxaria) (Sighed) I really want to go back up there not going to lie...... I always imagine if there's more planets like these in the stars....

Verdin: (Smiled) I promise Amanda.... when I'm gone... I'll be always with you in your travels.... even if you don't see me....

Amanda: (Nodding)

Sarux: (Coming to them) Brother!

Verdin: Sarux!! How you been!?

Sarux: Not much really! I was wondering how you been doing! are you okay?

Verdin: I don't think I will get out from this one, brother...

Sarux: Damn.... so, you will die then..

Verdin: Yes.... when? i don't know....

Sarux: Hmm.... we'll die at least in battle... if you have to...

Verdin: Ill see brother... Where's your family?

Sarux: Back in our kingdom... they are safe but the king there wants to merge his kingdom with Harxarian Empire... the talks has already been agreed to unify our race under one flag... so it seems the Harxarian Empire has been stronger than ever..

Verdin: It did...

Sarux: Im also sorry about the news of Falyria... im so in shock to learn she had the Silent Death...

Verdin: Me too...

Then... theres shouting from the guards as they are saying...

Guard: People of Harxarian Empire!!! The Proclamation Ceremony is about to commence!! I order you to please be silent for the Empress speech!! Thank you!

Several guards are standing on ech side looking one to another as they made a way and Gladyr, Vyria, Varia and Garlor are walking towards everyone and all the thousands spectators are watching the Empress walking even theres Raxarians looking at her.... she is wearing all kinds of jewelry and so its Vyria and Garlor. Varia is dressed casual with some clothing that are almost golden and has a blue jewel in the center.

There was silence and Gladyr came to a stop as she is ready to make the speech.

Empress Gladyr: (Long silence and looks at Verdin)

Verdin: (Nodding slowly)

Empress Gladyr: (Nods) (Looks at everyone) People of Karxilia City.... and all around our nation.... I know this is not any type of normal ceremony but i want to make this quick so we can end this war with... Today marks a new age in our Empire... i want to announce i will be your new leader, i will lead you to a prosperous age and so is my Prince and Princess here... and also for the first time ever... (Moves a hand to Varia on her right) Varia here will be our first Minister of State and our future Ambassador.... she made the desicion to represent our interest once we are ready to make contact with any races out there, when we are ready to make interstellar diplomacy. We are enterring a new age of our kind and i will make sure this one will be one where we all are unified under one banner....

Princess Vyria: I will be your new Princess and i will hear your voices!

Prince Garlor: And I will be your Prince.... and i will lead our military and our war generals...

Varia: And i will be your Minister of State.... any reports you have or any complaints with our Empire's management you must let me know and i shall pass to our Empress....

Empress Gladyr: May our Empire grow stronger than ever.... since it was established thousands of years ago by our forefathers... little they new our nation will become this powerful if we didnt make these swift decision in improving our technology and might... now, we are fighting a galactic threat and we have never been so unified until now.... i want to announce that we are enterring the end of the war, we will going to destroy this darkness and free our world from their corruption.... Hence why i want to show you... our new armada... (Spread arms)

Then two large explosions in the skies above the Pyramid sounded and its two large portal and the Battlecruisers are exiting and it fully exits the portals and it closes and several fighters fly in V Formation above the Pyramids and more came. Many people are now celebrating with loud cheering...

Verdin: (Loud cheering from the crowd) Amanda!? are those!?!

Amanda: Oh right!! i forgot you havent seen them!! yes Verdin! those are space ships!! but they are Xantarian Warships!! Me, Rexus and Cyre we rebuild them!

Verdin: Stars!!! Good job!!!

Then, the crowd started chanting...

"FOR HAXARIA!!! FOR HAXARIA!!!! FOR HAXARIA!!!!"

Empress Gladyr: (Raised an hand and everyone went silent and she said) Today its the day where we will march, all of us... our home... against them.... each one will take arms and we will go as one race against these invaders and we will show them how strong our kind is... they might have power... but we... have heart.... we have pride.... We are going to do this because this is our home!! This is For all Haxaria!! Death to The Darkness!!!!!

After that it followed by a uproar of cheering and battle cry as many are ready to take the fight... all civilians are willing to take arms and join up to finish the fight. The Haroxian race has never been so unified to face a menacing threat from galactic proportions. Gladyr is now ready to make the next moves... to end the war.
