My father ignores my cries
I claw from underneath the dirt he's buried me in
I cant Breathe
The dirt is clogging my lungs
I can't speak
He always knew how to keep a women's mouth shut
Clog her mind
Like my lungs
But with his words instead of dirt
It reminds me of the dirt that infected my wound
When I fell off my bike
I wailed and wailed
But these two situations are alike
I scream as tears build in my eyes
And once again
My father ignores my cries
