❛ run to me, confess your love, at lease just let me say that when i talk to you, cupid walks right through and shoots an arrow through my heart. and i sound like a loon, but don't you feel it too ❜

𝑍𝑂𝐸 𝑊𝐴𝑆 𝐺𝐸𝑇𝑇𝐼𝑁𝐺 𝑅𝐸𝐴𝐷𝑌 with Lola and Madison. The two girls were changed and ready for the morning gathering that they knew was happening in five minutes, but Madison was still getting changed. Lola and Zoe were sitting on Lola's bed while she was holding her rabbit and Zoe was researching Kyle. Lola couldn't do this herself since she's never even touched a laptop.

Madison had just come out of the bathroom and saw what Zoe was looking up and rolled her eyes. She thought that Lola was overreacting to the bus flipping and was being obsessive about Kyle. "My god, get over it already, Lola."

"You know, he spent his summers volunteering for a conservation park. Cleaning rivers, picking up litter, helping animals, that type of shit." Zoe read off from one of Kyle's online profiles. Lola's heart ached even more seeing how much he cared for Mother Nature. "He helped animals?"

"Yeah, there's a picture of him holding a baby fox with a cast on its leg." Zoe moved the laptop so Lola could see it. She let out a breath, feeling like she had just fallen in love with this boy. Lola cared about Brian most in this world, her rabbit was her life. Lola loved nature and the natural environment, so seeing someone she perceived as perfect already was the most endearing thing she could witness.

"Oh, he should be canonised." Madison spoke sarcastically as she pulled a shirt over her head. Zoe shook her head at the girl. "You killed a guy that Lola really cared about. How can you be such a bitch?"

"Because I understand people, and that guy would have happily taken a turn on me if he had the chance." Madison pointed out, but Lola was quick to defend Kyle. "He wasn't like that Madison. Kyle said he hated the guys who did stuff like that."

"Those guys were his frat brothers. It's guilt by association." Madison explained to her. While Lola might now know or understand social structures now, but she had a really hard time believing that Kyle was a bad person. He was the only pure soul she had ever met. Lola refused to believe that he was associated in any way personality-wise with rapists.
