❛ i'm gonna stay right here until i die ❜

𝑆𝐸𝐸𝐼𝑁𝐺 𝐴𝑆 𝐻𝑂𝑊 𝐿𝑂𝐿𝐴 couldn't just leave Kyle, a resurrected and confused mess, all alone in that morgue. She had helped him get changed, which was quite a struggle since Kyle could barely move on his own. Lola was now helping Kyle out of the building, but as soon as they stepped foot outside, Kyle had gone tumbling down the few stairs.

"Oh god, Kyle! I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" Lola gasped. She rushed down the stairs to the boy that was groaning in pain like a zombie. She was really struggling since she was basically holding his entire body weight, but Lola was able to help him back to his feet. Lola saw that Madison and Zoe had already left, which made her roll her eyes. Although, Lola was used to having people rely on her, but she couldn't do the same.

Lola scanned the lot nearby and only saw one car, which was from the worker. She felt horrible, but she had to get the walking human resurrection out of the public. Lola took her switchblade out of her pocket before she practically dragged Kyle over to the car. She gently laid him down on the ground before she put her switchblade in the keyhole. She learned how to steal all kinds of cars from her father -- a skill she shouldn't know how to do.

Once Lola was in, she put Kyle in the front seat, which was much more difficult than it looked. Lola was too able to hot-wire the car before she started to drive back to the academy.

On the way, she could see that Kyle was insanely fidgety, so she figured she would try to distract him with a conversation they needed to have anyway. "Okay, Kyle...um...I know you're aware that something's wrong. I mean, everything's gotta be really fuzzy and I hope it doesn't hurt too much. This is a lot to take in, a lot to hear, so if you need a minute or a hug or something, I'm here...but...you died, Kyle. Do you remember that? You...You were on a bus and there was an accident -- well, sort of an accident, but none of it was your fault. You were kind, and sweet, and such a gentleman. You were so amazing, Kyle, you did nothing wrong-"

Lola cut herself off when Kyle started violently hitting his head against the window. Lola's stress was through the roof, so she was trying to get this conversation over with so he could make peace with this. Kyle clearly understood what she was saying, but couldn't handle it mentally or emotionally. "Kyle! Kyle, look my friends tried to put you back together and...and I don't know how well they did because it didn't work, but I think I brought you back to life. And I'm sorry if you're in pain because of it, I didn't want to hurt you, I promise."
