𝐿𝑂𝐿𝐴 𝑊𝐴𝑆 𝐷𝑅𝐼𝑉𝐼𝑁𝐺 𝐾𝑌𝐿𝐸 back to his mother's house since it was his home. Lola didn't want to leave him with a woman that didn't know how to handle what happened, but she knew that this is where Kyle needed to be and his mother couldn't be alone. Lola wanted to help Ms. Spencer, especially after she was so kind the other day.

Kyle's head was against the window the entire drive, but Lola was happy he was peaceful. She could tell just by the look on his face that he was confused and a bit distraught, but that's the only expression he had been wearing. Lola didn't know what it was like to die and be resurrected, but she figured he was having a rough time. The best she could do was be there for him.

When they finally arrived at the Spencer household, Lola pulled onto the side of the road since she wanted a bit of distance. Lola took off her seat belt before she put her hand on Kyle's leg. He looked at her hand. Kyle, in his heart, felt he should have been scared with her so close, but instead, he felt safe. Kyle put his hands over hers and held it.

"Kyle, this is right. Your mom is the one person in the world that you'll remember. Everything will make sense when you see her. You're lucky to have her, Kyle. I would give anything to see my mother again. I promise...this is right." Lola expressed as she sent him a reassuring smile. Kyle only looked up at her for a moment before his eyes went right back to their hands.

Lola's smile dropped, seeing as how Kyle clearly wasn't happy to be there. He wanted to stay with Lola, he couldn't remember much, only the events from the day he died and a few other key elements. Memories were coming back to him slowly. Kyle could remember his friends, how much he cared about them before everything that happened. Kyle could remember not wanting to go to that party, but he too could remember being so overly thankful he went because he got to experience love at first sight.

The moment that he saw Lola walk into that party with her messy curly hair, beat up shoes contrasted to her elegant dress, freckled skin, and brown rabbit, Kyle fell in love. He had never seen a girl so effortlessly beautiful, a girl so clueless and amazed by everything she saw, a girl so unaware of her own perfection.
