"Starbuck's?" Alex and Morgan asked in unison. "Sure." I shrugged my shoulders and we all stood up from my couch. We all piled into Morgan's car and drove to the cafe that was a couple blocks away from my house. "We. Are. Here!" Morgan stated pausing after every word. Alex and raced to the door of the wonderful place like little children, giggling away.
We walked in and immediately walked to the counter. "Hello. What can I get for you?" A nice middle aged woman asked politely. "Can I have three pumpkin spice lattes?" Morgan ordered. She nodded and typed things into the computer. She gave Morgan the amount and he paid. He handed me my money and I pouted. "Stop." "You know your selflessness is awesome but right now it's annoying." I stuck my tongue out at him and he copied. "A lady should never pay when out with gentlemen." He and ex smiled chessily while I rolled my eyes. Morgan grabbed or order and sat down next to Alex who was sat across from me.
"How are you and Jade?" I asked Alex. "We're great. She's almost done with school." His eyes lit up.
"And how are you doing with the whole dating thing?" Morgan shrugged, slurpping on his drink. "I'm taking a break for a while. I decided to let the right girl come to me." "Well I give you my best wishes." I grinned, taking a sip of my own latte.
The doors little bells rang and I turned to see the one and only: Oliver Sykes. Our eyes met and I turned away quickly. Shivers went down my spine as I felt his eyes burning holes in the back of my neck.
"Umm...Lina-" "I know." I cut Alex off. "No, you don't, look." Morgan finished and motioned in back of me. I turned slightly and felt my heart break into a million tiny pieces. Oli was with a girl; they were kissing.
"Do you want to go?" I nodded and stared at my feet, trying hard to keep the tears that were threatening to fall in my eyes.
'Why does this always happen to me?'
