Amelia looked down to the ground and bit her lip. The shame she once felt had now fallen with her again.
She felt as horrible as she did all those years ago.
"I can't believe I did that." Amelia said in a low, hushed voice, careful not to cause any tears to spill. "It was very wrong and it should never of happened."
Rory looked sympathetic towards Amelia, understanding that the girl who was spilling her life story, in order to have a half decent biography completed about her life, he knew that she didn't want to hurt anyone.
She was simply in love with a complicated man.
"So, I take it that yourself and Daniel were back on some sort of track after Brazil 2018?" Rory looked hopeful in changing the conversation, hoping that by giving it a positive spin, Amelia would change my facial expression immediately.
"I wish that were true..." Amelia took a deep breath before she started to talk.

Amelia's POVI rested my head in the palm of my hand as I looked at my date from across the table.
Charlie had set me up. He always liked to introduce myself to his friends, all of which had never once been compatible for me, until today.
Miles had been friends with Charlie for a few years, however he had never once come out to dinner with us or been at any friendly social occasion. Charlie always told me that Miles had been out of town on business, and from his constant chattering, I could tell that Charlie was right.
According to Miles, and his never-ending story, he had been to over eighty countries in the last few years. He was in finance and seemed to be very confident in what he did.
You'd think that with my scrutinising tone that I'd be hating every second of this blind date, but that would be wrong. Miles was funny and charming and knowledgeable and he was absolutely adorable.
Mollie had persuaded me to get to know Miles before I whisked out of my London townhouse. She gave me the usual speech, informing me to forget about you-know-who and to start over again.
The man who shall not be named had not been in touch since our touching escapade in Brazil. He had simply performed the 'hit-it and quit-it.'
Honestly, I thought that I meant more to him than to do that to me, but as soon as he had finished all over my stomach and breasts, he gave me a few more kisses before informing me that he had to go out, leaving me alone in his huge hotel suite.
For an hour, I stared into nothingness, feeling incredibly used and violated. He had never made me feel uncomfortable until then. He had sex with me and then never once bothered to reach out again.
I chose to hide and run away from the season finale and told producers that i was sick, so I could flee to my safety in London and hopefully hide away forever.
As I was residing in my home, Mollie was making herself at home at Charlie's place. Yes, they had rekindled whatever weird relationship they had previously, and Mollie seemed happier than ever if I were honest, and that's all I was really hoping for.
