Danielle's POV

You ask me what I remember most about you from when we first met. I laugh and shake my head. "I'm serious!" You sigh.

I remember your red lipstick. You wore a black shirt and red shorts. Your black hair was done up in a bun and a smile spread acrossed your face.

You approached me and asked for directions to the nearest Starbucks. I blushed and offered to walk you. You smiled and accepted willingly. I walked you down the street and we talked. Your red lipstick taunted me as you spoke about how much you loved muse.

We reached Starbucks and your red lipstick matched your cheeks as you asked if I wanted to join you. I accepted and we sat at a window booth. Your red lipstick ordered and continued to talk about where you were from.

We finished our coffee and I could see your red lipstick stains on the cup. I offered to pay and we argued over the bill. Eventually I took it against your will. You groaned and let me pay. Little did I know you slipped money in my back pocket when we hugged goodbye.

You walked me back to my flat and gave me a hug. Red lips thanked me for coffee and asked for my number. I willingly gave you my number and you promised you would call. You swiftly kissed my cheek and began to walk away.

I unlocked my door and looked at the mirror in my living room. Red lipstick stained my cheek. I smiled and wiped it off. My phone vibrated. I picked up the phone.

"Hello?" I asked. "Hey." Your voice replied. "Hey." I said. I could hear your smiling on the phone. "How are you Danielle Grace?" You asked. "I'm fine how are you?" You paused and sighed. "You know, I'm not doing anything tomorrow or tonight and I'm extremely bored sitting in my flat."

I laughed and replied. "I am bored as well..." I trailed off. "Danielle Grace would you like to have a sleepover?" I agreed and rushed over to your flat. I knocked on the door to find you in red lipstick and red sweat pants. Your hair was slightly messier and glasses were perched on your nose.

"He-" before I could finished my greeting you had pulled me into your flat. You pulled me down a hallway and into your old living room. Pillows and blankets were strewn acrossed the floor. You yanked me down and pressed play on a remote. Howls Moving Castle began to play and you brought out snacks. "How long did it take you to plan this out?" I asked. You grinned. "I had my flatmate set it up and she left." You admitted.

I smiled and opened my mouth to say more but you shushed me. The movie started and I found myself playing with your fingers. You relaxed onto my chest and let my fingers entangle with yours. We sat and watched the movie until the end and then you switched on another movie.

Neither of us payed attention to each other as we were busy looking at each other. We both leaned in and out lips met slowly. To this day I can't remember the first half of that movie.

After the fourth movie you turned the TV off and cuddled into me. I wrapped my arms around you and brought you closer. "Hey Patricia?" I whispered. You looked at me through your eye lashes, your red lipstick taunted me as you replied. "Yeah?" I sucked in a breath and sighed. "You know I'm gay as fuck right?" You laughed a beautiful laugh. "I'm very very absolutely gay." You replied. We both laughed and cuddled together closer.

You asked me to go out with you the next morning. Obviously I agreed and kissed you quickly. My brown hair was slightly curly as I wiped the sleep out of my eyes. You said my hair was cute and we bickered over coffee. When it was time for me to leave, you pecked my lips and promised to text the moment I walked out the door.

Months ago you asked me to marry you and i cried out yes. Your red lipstick smeared as you kissed me. Salty tears mixed with our kisses as we hugged on the street we met.

Tonight is the night of our wedding and I am happier than I have ever been. We have everything planned out, a beautiful white wedding with red roses. Your dress is white and it flows behind you when you walk. My dress is black and clings to my body tightly. Your lips are bright red.

All I have left to say in my vows is that I love you with all my heart and I know that you are my soulmate. I love you Patricia Lester and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you.

I put down the notecards I had wrote years ago and wiped the tears from my eyes. "Mommy! mommy! mommy!" Skye ran in from another room. She latched onto my arm and I swung her up. "Why are you crying?" She asked.

I sniffed and wiped my eyes again. "I just really love mama baby, let's go find her yeah?" Skye nodded and ran out of the room. I stood, putting the notecards back into our wedding album and headed out of the storage room.

There stood Patricia, she was sweating and her hair was pulled up into a lazy bun but she still looked beautiful as ever. "Hey Patty-cakes." I joked. She looked up and she had a stern look on her face. "Why do I have to hear from one of the kids that you were crying?" I laughed and hugged her from behind.

"Babe, I was reading my wedding vows. I got sad and Skye ran in." Pat turned to kiss my jaw and hug me properly. "Where's Oliver?" I asked. She smiled and pointed out the sliding glass door. Our six year old boy was sleeping on the swinging chair in our backyard.

"You know you asked me what I remember about you most? It's the red lipstick you wore on our first date." I hummed into Pat's ear. She smiled into my neck and in that moment everything was perfect.
