Searching

In the vast, lonely sea of endless doubt,

I reach out, searching for a love that's true.

A beacon of light that will guide me about,

A heart that beats for me, forever new.

I long for a love that's pure and divine,

A connection that's strong yet tender and kind.

A love that will, in all moments, shine,

A love that, in my soul, I'll never find.

But still, I reach out, my hand extended,

Hoping that somewhere, someone is waiting.

For me to find them, to be befriended,

To fill my heart with love, never abating.

So I reach out, with all of my might,

Hoping to find love in the midst of night.

Through the darkness and through the pain, I stride,

Reaching out for love, my heart open wide.

I yearn for a love that will never fade,

A connection so strong that it can't be swayed.

I long for a love that will light up my soul,

That will make me feel complete and whole.

A love that will stand the test of time,

A love that is pure and truly divine.

I reach out for love with all of my being,

Hoping that soon, I will be seeing,

The one who will capture my heart and my mind,

And fill my days with joy so kind.

So I reach out, with hope in my heart,

Knowing that love will never depart.

I reach out for love, with faith, and with trust,

Believing that true love is always a must.
