The last rays of the setting sun cast long shadows across the porch as Inko paced back and forth, worry etched on her face. News of the school lockdown had sent shivers down her spine, and Izuku's absence amplified her fear. Every passing minute felt like an eternity.

Inko: Oh Izuku where are you?

Suddenly, a knock on the door startled her. Relief flooded her veins as she rushed to open it. Her eyes widened in surprise at the sight that greeted her. Izuku stood on the doorstep, a hint of apprehension in his eyes, flanked by five unfamiliar figures.

Izuku: Mom.

He moved forward and hugged her and Inko reciprocated. The woman standing beside him stepped forward, offering a warm smile.

Miriam: Hello there, you must be Izuku's mother. I'm Miriam Michaelis, and these are my children.

She gestured to the others, introducing them briefly. Inko's gaze flitted between the Michaelis family and Izuku, her initial surprise morphing into cautious curiosity. It was a strange sight - her son, usually brimming with nervous energy, standing subdued next to this composed group. But the most puzzling aspect was Izuku's lack of injuries. Reports mentioned a quirk-related incident, but he looked completely healed.

Inko(concern): Izuku, what happened and why is the school closed?

Before Izuku could answer, Caesar, the imposing figure beside Miriam, cleared his throat.

Caesar: There's a lot to explain, Miss. Midoriya, Perhaps we should come in and discuss this over a cup of tea.

Inko hesitated for a moment, her mind a whirlwind of questions. Yet, seeing Izuku unharmed and in the company of these seemingly kind strangers outweighed her apprehension. She finally conceded, ushering them inside.

Inko: Alright, But first, tell me, is everything okay with Izuku?

Miriam: No worries ma'am; he would be perfectly fine. We used our...abilities to heal any bruising and broken bones. The bandages were his minor injuries.

Inko: Abilities?

Caesar: Yes miss...

Inko: It's Ms.; I was married a while ago, but my husband had left us.

Caesar: I'm sorry, Ms. Midoriya; we will tell you more in a moment, first thing first; your son.

He took out his laptop. Inko's heart hammered in her chest as Caesar pressed play on his laptop. The screen flickered to life, revealing a scene from the schoolyard. Her blood ran cold as she recognized Bakugo and his cronies surrounding another child, raining down taunts and threats. But a flicker of warmth ignited within her when she saw Izuku step forward, his voice trembling but resolute as he intervened. Her relief was short-lived as Bakugo's crimson gaze shifted to Izuku, a cruel smirk twisting his lips. The following moments unfolded in a blur - explosions, Izuku's crumpled form hitting the ground - as he remembered her son having burns, scratches, and covered in dirt.

Tears welled up in Inko's eyes, blurring the screen. Relief washed over her again as she saw unfamiliar figures rushing to Izuku's aid, driving Bakugo and his lackeys away. However, the source of this intervention remained a mystery.
