Chapter 1: Training Day

As I stood in the open field, sweat trickling down my forehead, I couldn't help but steal glances at Levi. His stoic gaze seemed fixed on the training grounds, his expression unreadable as always. Yet, every time our eyes met, my heart pounded in my chest, sending a rush of adrenaline through my veins.

"Hange, are you sure this training exercise is necessary?" I asked, trying to focus on the task at hand.

Hange, always enthusiastic about Titan research, waved her hand dismissively. "Absolutely, Eren! We need to ensure you're in complete control of your Titan form."

I nodded, feeling the weight of responsibility on my shoulders. Ever since I gained the ability to transform into a Titan, I knew I had to master it, to use it to protect humanity. But with Levi watching, the pressure intensified.

"Alright, let's begin," Hange exclaimed, clapping her hands together.

Taking a deep breath, I focused on shifting into my Titan form. The familiar sensation of bones cracking and muscles stretching washed over me, and soon I stood as a towering Titan.

But as I attempted to perform the maneuvers Hange instructed, my attention kept drifting to Levi. Each time I caught his gaze, my concentration wavered, and I stumbled in my movements.

"Eren, focus!" Hange's voice snapped me back to reality.

I shook my head, trying to clear the distractions. But whenever our eyes met, it felt like the world around us faded away, leaving only him and me in an unspoken exchange.

Levi remained unmoving, his presence both comforting and unnerving. What was it about him that stirred such emotions within me? I couldn't understand it, couldn't explain the racing of my heart whenever he was near.

As the training session dragged on, frustration bubbled within me. I needed to prove myself, to show that I could control my Titan form without distractions. But with Levi's silent observation, it seemed like an impossible task.

Finally, as the sun dipped below the horizon, signaling the end of the training session, I reverted to my human form, panting heavily.

"Good work, Eren," Hange said, offering a reassuring smile. "We'll continue tomorrow."

I nodded, still feeling the weight of Levi's gaze on me. What was it about him that captivated me so? And why did it seem like every moment in his presence was both exhilarating and terrifying?

As Levi turned to leave, his expression unchanged, I couldn't shake the feeling of longing that stirred within me. What was it about him that drew me in, even as he remained so distant?

And as I watched him disappear into the shadows, leaving me with more questions than answers, I couldn't help but wonder what the future held for us both.
