He scratched lightly at the tip of his nose and then his arm when he felt the itch move there. Staring down at his suitcases he needed to finish packing, Liam found himself having a difficult time trying to fill them up with his clothes and other traveling necessities. He had piles of folded clothes covering the top of his bed, as well as his needed things from his bathroom and his electronics.

Going back to the place where everything changed wasn't something that he was looking forward to. He thought he would never have to go back to the house where they used to write songs together. Liam was still surprised that Louis had still gone there to work with his solo projects. How was it so easy for the other man to go back there after what happened?

Then Liam shook his head. He wasn't going to think about Louis. All Louis was to him was a business partner and that's who he should have been when they first started to work together. They shouldn't have become friends because that relationship was now gone forever. It wasn't supposed to be something they mixed up because that's when they messed it up.

He was going to have to put up with Louis for three entire months, knowing that Louis would try to mend the broken parts of what once was between them. Liam didn't want that. He just wanted to focus on the young talented girl that was putting her trust in them to help her out with her dream. Liam would call it selfish if Perrie wasn't put first. It should have always been just about that.

With a sigh Liam decided that he would try packing later. Maybe he'd be able to after a run and a shower to help clear his head and not make him dread having to practically live with Louis for three months.

He didn't have to live in the house but it was just more convenient staying there instead of driving back and forth all of the time. It would also make it a little more difficult for the media to find out where the house they used for writing was. If he drove there and back every single time, his car could easily be spotted and followed. He was going to have a driver drop him off at the house and then find a place to go rent a car for trips to the market or to go out to eat meals.

Liam was going to make sure he was extra careful. He wasn't going to make big mistakes ever again.

He walked back into his closet where he's been for the past hour trying to figure out what clothes that he was going to need for his time away. Most of his options were the usual shirts, jeans, flannels, and sweatpants and jumpers or hooded sweatshirts. Then he decided to bring a few of his dress shirts and suits just in case they had any scheduled events to make an appearance at. Now, he was in his closet to put on a pair of gym shorts so he could go for his run.

There was a set route that Liam would go on his runs. He was barely spotted but there have been a few times where people would take his picture or stopped him for one when he was out. He didn't like to stop once he got a good strong pace and there were often times where he didn't even hear anyone around him because he had his music on loud to drown out everything, even his own thoughts.

Liam enjoyed exercising whether it be in a gym, with a trainer, or out on his own. He liked working out and seeing the result. There was a time when he was first in university that he decided that he was going to go out and have a good time with new friends and then drink until he nearly remembered that he still had responsibilities. It wasn't good for his health and one day he just took a real notice of how his behaviors were taking a toll on him. His new decision was to shape himself up, that also included his studies.

It paid off because now he was in fit shape and very successful at his job at the record label. Liam couldn't imagine his life going any differently and he was glad that he was able to catch himself practically sending himself to his own grave.
