My chest heaves at a frequent pace as me and Eden slide to the ground. The wind blows forcefully past us but the feeling is euphoric. Eden tightens her arms around the rope before we can forcefully hit the ground. I open my eyes that I didn't even notice close.

She unhooks the rope from her and takes my hand in her own. We start running towards the street and an all black van speeds our way. The van comes to a halt and Eden flings open the door. I look over at her cautiously.

"Hey folks," Ryan smiles back at us.

"Come on," Eden says and I get into the car with no more complaints. Eden follows behind me as Ryan pulls away from the scene.

"Let's fucking go!" Eden screams in excitement. I laugh at her and then fall over laughing because of everything that is going on. I feel tears slide down my face as my adrenaline fades away.

"And I thought I was crazy," I hear Eden laugh with Ryan. Eden and Ryan stop and look down at me as I start sobbing onto the van floor.

What the hell just happened?

"Do you want to talk about it?" Eden asks skeptically. I put a hand back to signal a 'no' and she turns her attention to Ryan. I can't believe I did that. I never knew I would have the guts to do what I did. Especially for a girl...

My senses are heightened and I turn back to look at my home. I pull out my phone and see several text messages from Sage.

I shakily turn off my location as I wipe the tears from my face. I sit up on the van floor and Eden watches me skeptically. She opens her arms as she slouches against the van doors and I crawl over to her. I nestle myself into her leather attire as sleep consumes me.

"I'm acting out? You are the one who's doing too much," I hear as I slowly blink my eyes open. I look around and see that I'm in Eden's room. I try to go back to sleep but Eden is talking loudly.

"This why I do stuff on my own," she continues. I chuck a pillow at her and she turns around and glares over at me.

"I don't care! You'll never find me," she walks over to me mischievously before pouncing on top of me. I try to hold in my laughs as she tickles me.

"Bye mom," she hangs up the phone. I stop laughing and feel my body curl up at the remembrance of past events. Eden must've noticed because she stops her actions.

"Breakfast?" She tilts her head. I nod slowly as I rub at my eyes.

Eden gets off of me as she makes her way downstairs. I head to the bathroom and notice a few of my items from last time laid around. I get ready for the day and head downstairs.

I walk into the marble kitchen and see Eden typing fiercely on a flip phone. I start to ponder on who is making the girl that upset. I go to the cupboards and open it up, only to see that all the glasses are on the highest shelf.

"Need help?" I hear Eden mumble. I feel her come from behind me. She places one hand on my waist as she grabs the glass and hands it to me. I can't even move away because she starts kissing on my neck gently. I feel ticklish and try my best to escape her.

"Stop!" I yelp. Eden laughs close to my ear and I start to feel embarrassed.

"No-" Eden laughs, but we both stop when we hear a glass breaking in the distance. We turn to each other and look over at one another confusingly.

Eden opens a drawer closest to our right and inside is a display of knives and small guns with their bullets. My mouth drops open but I cant even ask anything because a knife is being shoved into my hand.

"Take this and call Ryan. He's the last person I texted in my phone," she instructs before walking off with two guns in her hand.

"And stay down," she emphasizes. I drop to the floor and try my best to work the flip phone, but who am I kidding? I haven't had a flip phone in years. I press a random button and hear a ringing sound.

"Ryan! We need help, please come over," I hurriedly speak once I hear the other line answer.

"Hello?" Eden's mom sounds into the phone.

"Shit!" I curse underneath my breath and try my best to end the call.

"Oh? Is this the girl who has my daughter acting like captain save a hoe?" She questions, making me scoff. How old is this woman?

"When I find you, I will kill you. You've been pushing my families name into the ground and I will not stand for this embarrassment."

I end the call and try to find Ryan's contact but I drop the phone because of a loud alarm sound. The house flashes red all over as the alarm blares loudly. I hear police sirens in the distance and footsteps run toward the kitchen.

"Kora, go to the garage. We've been caught," she shakes me. Eden helps me to stand on my feet as we run towards the back door. We make it to the garage and she hurriedly looks for her car keys before sighing.

"We are taking the bike. It's much faster," she grabs the keys and runs over to a covered vehicle that I don't remember seeing. She pulls off the cover and what lays before us is a red and black motorcycle.

"Let's go," she hops on and throws on her helmet while handing me one. I gulp as I take it.
