Maddie is still wondering what happened the night of the cookout. On the other hand, she still has to go to school. Her mom is waiting downstairs and all Maddie can think of is Matt. Maddie's mom calls out "hurry up Maddie, you're gonna be late for your first day of school." Maddie throws on some clothes and grabs her backpack. She rushes downstairs and says "okay, let's go!" She grabs a pop tart from the kitchen and goes to school.
On the way to school everything was silent. Her mom didn't say a word, for she already knew Maddie had a lot on her mind. Maddie is thinking about Matt and wondering if she'll get a few classes with him.
They arrive at the school and Maddie walks to her first class. She completely ignores everyone. She enters her first class and all of a sudden her face lights up. Matt has her very first class of the day! She informs the teacher that she is a new student and the teacher sits her next to Matt. For a few minutes there was nothing but cricket sounds. Then Maddie approaches him with a simple- "Hi!" While Matt did hear her, he decides to ignore her.
Maddie taps on his shoulder. "Huh?" Matt asks.
"I said Hi!" Maddie tells him. "Oh, yeah, right, Hi!" Matt replies. Conversation starts very slowly.
"Millie, right?" Matt asks, knowing her name is Maddie but not wanting to seem desperate.
"Haaahaa no, it's Maddie!" Maddie proceeds "Mark, right?" Maddie asks, knowing it's Matt, but trying to mock him, in a way he thinks it's cute.
"Haaahaaa no, it's Matt!" Matt replies, knowing she did that on purpose.
*Class we have a new student* The teacher interrupts.
The teacher motions to Maddie. *Why don't you tell us a little about yourself* The teacher continues.
Maddie begins to say whay state she moved from and asked questions the students had.
As the day moved along, Maddie was exhausted because that's all she did the whole day, Hi, my name's Maddie! I moved here from Virginia. Is there anything particular you guys would like to know?... No, yes, yes, no, I don't know. She found out that she had a few classes with Hope, a few classes with Matt, and a few classes with Hope AND Matt!
At the end of the school day, Maddie and Matt met up.
Maddie asked Matt "Did you tell anyone that we --- slept together?"
Matt replies "No, do you want me to?"
Maddie says " NO! that's embarrassing"
"HOW? We didn't do anything" Matt tells her.
"I don't know, it just is, okay?" Maddie says.
Matt asks "So, you didn't like it?"
Maddie then says "NO!"
Matt asks"Not even a little?"
Maddie grins at him then walks off.
Maddie's mom is waiting for her in the car. As Maddie enters the car, her mom asks "How was school today?"
Maddie replies, still smiling because of Matt, "It was good"
"I bet it was better, considering you got a big smile stretching across your face" her mom tells her.
"It was good" Maddie repeats herself.
"Well that's good" Maddie's mom says.

When they got home, Maddie runs upstairs and throws herself on her bed, Smiling at the ceiling.
She decides to text Matt. She sends him
'Hey there cutie '
Matt immediately responds with
'Oh, so you did like it? Or did you love it? '
As their messages rise with feels, their hearts pound harder.
Matt unexpectedly shows up to Maddie's house, knowing it would be awkward entering through the front door, Matt throws rocks at Maddie's window and motions toward the back door.
Matt runs to Maddie's room and rips his clothes of as well does Maddie.
Things get steamy.
Matt, Maddie moans.
Matt throws himself on top of Maddie and kisses her from head to toe.
About an hour had passed by.
As their warm bodies are laying next to each other, both are breathing heavily, staring at the ceiling, with smiles across their faces.
"That. Was. Great" They both say simultaneously.
