Is Septimus okay?

I needed to know.

We all went to his house, running to it.

"Septimus! Are you here?" I called out as we ran towards his house.

Talon ran up and checked the inside.

"He's gone! But he can't be…" Talon said, clearly upset.

Lizzie argued, "Why would he leave? He found you again, found us. Why?"

Talon looked distraught.

So was I though.

Septimus gave me his power and then…dipped.

Why?

"This doesn't make any sense! He can't just leave!" Hannah cried out.

Malik argued, "But he has and he did."

Will he come back though?

**3rd POV
Meanwhile, the remains of Tier were lying out in the woods.

Until they moved.

Reassembling themselves as if they had a mind of their own.

And it was soon enough that Tier was put back together

As if he hadn't been destroyed.

As if he hadn't been blown to pieces by Santi.

He was assembled and back to normal as if nothing had even happened.

The next day, the rangers didn't have time to worry about Septimus.

Crocobite had reappeared finally and was eating buildings in the small town of Mermaid River.

They had to stop him.

"These buildings are tasty! And there's so much to eat right now! I'll go have more!" Crocobite said after eating his third building.

He was going to continue his eating spree, until the rangers appeared.

"I think we found our missing contender." Malik complained.

He was right, Crocobite had been missing due to his ship exploding a few days before.

Now he was back.

Hannah pointed at him, "Right! I forgot about him due to everything else."

Lizzie made a face, "Oh, right. I guess now is as good a time as any, right?"

Parker just looked at him, what else was there to say?

Everything had been said already.

Crocobite was annoyed at their appearance, "You're the…I don't remember you honestly."

The rangers looked at each other.

Shocked that he forgot them.

"You forgot us? What was your excuse? You fall on your head?" Parker finally demanded.

"They're the Champions, you idiot!" They all heard and looked beyond Crocobite, seeing someone that they didn't think they would see again.

Back to himself.

As if he never was defeated in the first place.

"What? How?" Lizzie demanded.

Everyone was shocked.

Horrified even.

Tier laughed at the reaction, "I don't need second chances Jensei gives the rest of the contestants. Or even Denato. I get to live as long as I want, no consequences even if you destroy me."
