Seven weeks went by and the expecting couple had still not told anybody about their pregnancy. They planned to tell their friends and family when they had their first sonogram picture. Taylor awoke the next morning laying on her side. Travis's strong arm was spooning her. She groaned, feeling the all-too-familiar nausea.
Taylor's morning sickness was so severe that when she was four weeks pregnant she had to go to the hospital to receive fluids through an IV due to dehydration.
Whatever Taylor had thought pregnancy would be like before she got pregnant had shifted. While she had more joy and happiness than she thought possible. For instance, she enjoyed using a baby app that would tell you at each week's milestone how big your baby was compared to a fruit. This week, the baby was the size of a grape. However, Taylor constantly felt like a train had hit her.
Taylor quickly shot out of bed, barely making it in time to vomit into the toilet. She knelt to her knees, the force of throwing up forcing her body down.
Travis awoke to the feeling of Taylor leaving his arms. He groaned, yawning. But when he heard the new reality of Taylor vomiting into the toilet, he sighed and went to the bathroom.
"Oh, baby. I'm so sorry", Travis said, kneeling beside her. He kissed the back of her head as she vomited full force, holding her blonde hair back.
Taylor finished vomiting but still hung her head over the toilet basin. Her eyes were scrunched shut as she breathed heavily out of her mouth. The smell of her vomit alone was enough to make Taylor sick all over again.
Taylor let out a whimper, her abdominal muscles aching after the violent upchucks.
"Shhh, you're ok sweetie. Let's get ready then go downstairs and we'll cuddle on the couch ", Travis offered in a soft, caring voice.
Travis truly felt horrible for Taylor's sickness. The Kelce family was known to have fairly uncomfortable pregnancies, part of the reason Donna decided to stop at two. When Kylie was pregnant with Wyatt, it had been so bad that she wanted to stop at one but surprise, then came Elliotte and Bennett.
"Ok", Taylor muttered, spitting a chunk of vomit into the toilet before standing up with Travis's help and flushing.
"No", Taylor said, her bottom lip quivering. She looked down to see that her shirt was covered in vomit.
"Sh sh. Let's get it off then you can change. See, we can fix this", Travis said in a cheerful voice. He was trying to remain positive and help Taylor with as much as he could.
"Ok", she sniffled.
Travis helped lift the shirt off over her head without getting any vomit on her hair or face.
"And... we did it!", Travis exclaimed, flashing her a smile.
Taylor smiled shyly back. "Thank you". "You're welcome baby", Travis answered. He went into the walk-in closet to retrieve a shirt.
Taylor went to the sink to brush her teeth but her mouth soon fell agape.
"Travis! Get over here", she said, a smile on her face.
"What? Are you hurt?", he asked, a look of worry on his face.
Taylor laughed lightly. "No. Look. I'm showing", Taylor said, taking his hand into his own and placing it on her stomach.
Travis's mouth fell open. "Wow, you are honey! You look so cute with your little baby bump", Travis mumbled into her ear, placing kisses behind it.
"Easy there. This is how we got into this in the first place", Taylor said.
Travis wrapped his arms around her waist from behind as they stood in front of the mirror, both of their hands touching Taylor's small baby bump.
