Donghyun was sitting, doing his homework at his desk. The casual tapping of his pen against the wood would be enough to piss off people around him. Good thing he was usually alone.

He suddenly smiled a certain male popping into his head. He put the pen down and leaned back into his chair.

Then a knock sounded on his door, he turned to its direction as it alerted him. Getting up from his chair to answer the door to reveal his friend Dongmin.

Dongmin smiled, "have you eaten?"

Donghyun shook his head, "no."

"I wasn't sure what to get you but Jaehyun helped me pick out your regular order," Dongmin stated.

Donghyun smiled letting the male into his room because truly it was the thought that counted. Dongmin quickly set things up on the living room table, supplying Donghyun with a much-needed break from his homework.

Donghyun grabbed glasses of water and heated some also for Dongmin's ramen. Turning on the TV for some background noise even the two do well with silence.

"Have you been doing homework," Dongmin asked.

Donghyun nodded as he took a bite of his kimbap, even though he didn't eat much he was still hyper-fixated on food. Explaining why he's constantly eating the same things over and over again when you see him.

It was silent for a while though a lot was on Dongmin's mind. Still, Donghyun's seemed empty. Dongmin didn't quite know how to approach the situation either but being straightforward.

"Donghyun?

"Hm?"

"Do you like Sanghyeok?"

"Yep."

Dongmin was taken aback by the quick reply, "Just like that?"

"Like what?"

"You just told me straight away."

"You wanted an answer, so I gave you one."

"Most people act shy or try to dismiss it."

"Why would I lie about how I feel?"

Dongmin looked at Donghyun dumbfounded but the male did have a point. What would be the point in lying anyway?

"Do you want to date him?"

Donghyun tilted his head, "I'm not sure."

"How can you not be sure? You like him. Most people want to date the people they like," Dongmin reasoned.

Donghyun shrugged, "I've never liked anyone before, so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do but express it. Also, I'm not sure if he feels the same way."

Dongmin nodded, and it made sense, "have you asked him?"

Donghyun shook his head, "no, he still doesn't want to believe the fact that I like him."

"I don't think he's ever had some like him before," Dongmin stated.

Donghyun nodded before he looked at Dongmin with curious eyes, "do you think I'm likable?"

Dongmin squinted at the question, "Are you dumb? Have you seen yourself?"

Donghyun sighed, "Sungho thinks I lack personality."

"Well, I think Sungho has enough personality for both of us. Plus, I think you're cool. You're also good-looking, caring, and so calm to be around, " Dongmin stated.

Donghyun smiled lightly, "You think I'm cool."

"Out of all my friends, I hang out with you the most. You're just nice to be around and it's not too draining. So yes, I think you are cool and likable," Dongmin stated.

"So there is a chance Sanghyeok could like me back," Donghyun stated.

Dongmin nodded, "I don't see why not. I've noticed you make him feel shy but also good inside so maybe just keep flirting and soon it'll just click for him."

"I'll just keep being myself, I don't want to go overboard and make him uncomfortable," Donghyun stated.

Dongmin nodded, "do you want to go see a movie?"

"What like Kung Fu Panda 4 or something?"

"Yes! Please, can we?"

Soon Dongmin and Donghyun showed up at the cinema. Dongmin got popcorn and Donghyun snuck in his pack of jellies that he got from Sanghyeok.

Buying their tickets and getting their drinks they sat down in the middle of the back row. They came on a good day, it was a bit later and a weekday so the theater wasn't unnecessarily full.

Just a couple of random people and some couples here and there. They waited patiently for the movie to load in with all the previews playing.

The lights were about to dim when some giggling guys came in. The noise caught Donghyuns attention recognizing the males immediately.

Donghyun tore his eyes away from the short blonde male to look over at his friend, "did you invite them?"

Dongmin looked over a shook his head, "nope, just a coincidence."

Just a coincidence.

"Hey is this seat taken?"

Donghyun froze he had no idea why he felt so nervous, he never has felt this way before but he looked over and watched Sanghyeok's face flush.

"No you can sit there if you want," Donghyun stumbled over his words but got his point across when the males sat down.

"Oh, Donghyun and Dongmin nice to see you guys Yeppi and Hak are here too," Jaehyun leaned over to tell them.

Sungho smacked Jaehyuns chest, "I told you not to call me that in public."

"What else am I supposed to call a pretty person?"

Sanghyeok chuckled rolling his eyes, "Couples am I right?"

Donghyun blinked loving the smile in this dim lighting, "Are they together?"

Sanghyeok glanced at the two then whispered to Donghyun, "In Jaehyun's dreams."

The lights finally went out and the movie was starting. Donghyun couldn't pay attention to a single thing on the screen, he was nearly watching the movie in the reflection of Sanghyeoks eyes.

The glistening sparkles held in his eyes, the way they would crease when he laughed or water when he felt sadness. Gosh Donghyun was entranced by Sanghyeok's facial expressions and small commentary.

Donghyun rested his arm on the rest looking down as he felt something against his hand. Sanghyeok hand caressed the back of his hand lightly.

"Sorry," Sanghyeok mumbled.

"You can hold it if you want, I don't mind," Donghyun whispered back.

Sanghyeok couldn't move an inch at the proposal even though he wanted to try. His fingers would slightly fall back soon Donghyun just laced their fingers together.

This was comfortable for Sanghyeok, to rely on someone like this. He slowly started to find himself craving this casual affection from the male as time went on.

Maybe he did like him back?
