Travis POV

"I met her in class man, her name is Vanessa." I told Marcus as I showed him a pic of her in my phone.

"What she see in yo ugly ass" Marcus said as Qua & Isaiah laugh.

"Apparently, she saw more in me than the time you asked her to prom last year and she turned you down. Ugly ass." Travis said as everyone bursted out laughing except Marcus.

"See you den even have to say it like that"

"Can't get mad when somebody finally makes a joke on you. Llf (laughing like fuck) Ight then." I say, because his ass was probably about to cry.

Marcus gets up and goes to the bathroom while Qua goes outside for a smoke, leaving me and Isaiah in the living room.

"Aye Tra"

I look up, "Wassup?"

"Ain't Vanessa's last name Morgan?"

"Yea why?" I ask

"Her cousin is Sky Morgan and she talks about her to me 24/7 on how I should get at her but tbh I don't want Vanessa.. I want Sky."

"Get at her then man. Stop being a Lil bitch and just go on and tell her straight up."

Isaiah sits there and just thinks for a minute. "Tell Vanessa to tell her some good shit about me so we can link up because I wanna take her out."

"Nigga you better be glad you my homie or I would've beat yo ass for acting like a pussy." I say as I walk out the door heading to my car.

**Text convo**

- "hey"

Nessa (his contact name for her) - "heyy"

- "Can we talk in private?"

Nessa - "yea sure, but I don't have the car, its my brother's turn tonight"

- "I'll come pick you up, what's your address?" She texts me her address and I sit and wait outside her house.

Her house is 2 stories high and is a beige color with a burgundy door. I hope she understands where I'm coming from and why I'm doing this.

Damn, Vanessa looks good even in her pajamas. I think to myself.

Vanessa- what's up ?

- Vanessa, I've been thinking...and I got feelings for you ma.

Vanessa- wow Travis.. we've only known eachother for 2 weeks and--- he cuts her off.

- I know but I believe in love at first sight. Don't you?

Vanessa- *blushing*

- Make me happy by being mines... *he takes her hand*

Vanessa- Of course I will. I've always liked you but I just didn't know how to say it.

- *leans in and kisses her*

Vanessa- mmm that was nice, I'll see you tomorrow at school Travis.

- no baby, call me Tra and I'll see you then. He says as she walks back in her house

She looked good and handled everything better than I thought. But.... damn I didn't tell her about my double life as a dealer. And I can't tell her now ... we just got together. I don't think she's ready just yet. I mean our personal life is our business right now. Maybe when we get a little closer, then I can tell her. Shit I don't know. We'll cross that road when we come to it.
