She swam through the trench having adjusted to the lower levels of oxygen and light. She'd caught sight of sharks, anglerfish, and more in the trench.
She peered down at the rocky ground she was swimming above, seeing fish darting around the rocks. She caught a faint shine as some light reflected off of something. She swam toward where she saw the shiny thing.
She ran her hands through the sand at the base of the rock. She felt something snag on her claws and lifted her hand. A silver chain with a locket on it. Lifting it closer to her face, she saw strange runes carefully carved on the locket. 'Pretty,' she thought looking at it and tucked it into her inventory.
She continued swimming on, idly wondering where the locket came from.
