Stitches had been swimming for a while and couldn't see anything anymore. It was so dark. She swore she heard the swish of fins and felt the water move. She shook it off and swam forward. Then she felt a skeletal hand on her tail. She swung around and bit what ever it was causing it to cry out before she darted away. She swam quickly and lit up her tail using magic.
After swimming a while, she decided it was safe enough and bright enough and let the glow of her tail fade as she swam onward. She didn't know what that had been and wasn't sure she wanted to.
