Day 2: Socks

Stitches was bored, but she knew one good way to fix that. She swam to one of the nearby islands. She saw the small boat and circled it a couple times before poking her head out of the water. Chirping a couple times before diving back under. She waited a bit before poking out her head and chirping again. She did this several more times before nudging the boat and surfacing. "Stitches," said one of the humans.
"Hi!" She chirped.
"You bored again?" Asked the other human. She nodded. "We can't play now, but I think mom and dad are over by the beach so you can mess with them." Said the goat monster. Stitches gave a happy chirp before diving and swimming to the beach.

There, she saw two goat monsters. A male sleeping in the shade of a tree, and a female doing laundry on the dock. Mischief glinted in her eyes. She carefully snuck closer before snatching the socks. The goat monster reached for the socks. "What? I could have sworn I put those socks here..." she muttered. Stitches threw one of the socks onto the dock. "What!" Exclaimed the monster. She looked around and saw the torn and scarred tip of a purple fin.
"Stitches, give me back the socks." She said to the siren.
"No!" Chirped the siren poking out her head.

The goat monster tried to take the socks from the mischievous siren. She knew that Stitches had probably been bored and the kids had told her that she and her mate were on the beach. Eventually, she had taken all the socks but one. Stitches was currently chewing the sock. "Quit chewing on the sock." Said the goat monster. The siren shook her head. "How about this, I'll grab on of the kids balls if you want to play." She said. Stitches gave her the sock. She went and grabbed a beach ball.

That night, the ones who had been on the boat and beach were all together. The kids, Smudge, Spill, and Taint and their parents, Peace and King all sat together at dinner. "So, you three sent Stitches to me." Said Peace.
"Uhh, hehe, yeah." Said Tainted.
"What happened?" Asked King.
"She stole the socks." Said Peace and recounted the events.
