Stitches swore she felt someone watching her as she swam through the dark waters with her tail glowing. 'It's kinda spooky down here,' she thought as she swam by an angler fish. She saw the glint of something red in the corner of her eye and whipped around. Scanning over the area, she didn't see anything, so she continued swimming.
She swore she kept seeing something swimming in the corners of her vision. She could feel the water stir as though something was getting close so she sped up. She was a very fast swimmer, so she easily got ahead of whatever it was. As she continued swimming, she caught sight of a hole in the rocks. Swimming closer, she saw it was an entrance to a cave. Carefully, she swam a little further in. Hearing something coming, she dove into the cave.
She looked around and saw the cave went deeper. Her curiosity getting the better of her, she swam deeper into the cave. She continued swimming deeper and deeper. Then she felt something wrap around her tail and froze. The cave lit up, revealing a giant octopus mer. 'Kraken leviathan,' her mind thought.
"What are you doing in my den?" They asked. "I was exploring." She said. "And what is a little mer like you doing down here?" He asked. "I was curious and wanted to travel," she said. "What's your name little mer?" He asked. "Stitches." She answered. "My name is Nightmare." He said.
"Boss!" Yelled a voice. "Brother!" Yelled another. Turning, she saw four sharks and a goldfish mer. She looked closer at the goldfish who had called the leviathan brother. She saw the signs they were another leviathan. "I found the Mer you were all talking about." Said Nightmare. "Really?" Asked a black and white shark. Nightmare nodded and they all looked at the Mer in Nightmare's grasp. "Boss, I don't think that's a Mer." Said a purple shark. "What do you mean?" Asked the goldfish. "Look at their fins and markings, they're a siren, not a Mer." The purple shark said. "You appear to be correct Dust." Said Nightmare peering at the siren closer.
"Hi, I'm Stitches." She said. "If you're a siren, why did you run away?" Asked a Mer with black tears. "I didn't know what you were and I was on your territory. I didn't want to get into a fight with so little information." Stitches said. "Smart," said Nightmare. "My name's Dream." Said the goldfish leviathan. "Nice to meet you, I never thought I'd meet two leviathans, much less on the same day." She said. "You know Dream's a leviathan!?" Exclaimed the black and white shark. "I wasn't positive, but I was pretty sure based on what I'd heard about leviathans appearances." She said. "I'm Horror." Said the mer who hadn't spoken and had a hole in the skull. "Cross." Said the black and white mer. "I'm Killer." Said the black teared shark. "Dust." Said the purple tailed one.
They talked a little and Dream invited her to stay with them while she was in the area. She agreed.
A/N: Stitches is a pretty powerful siren, but she didn't want to fight something she had no idea about
