"Ok im ready." Tati announced as she came down the stairs with the new balances Taurus got her in one hand, and her phone and keys in the other. Taurus got up from his stool while looking her up and down.
"You look good. You like the purse? ." He asked while taking in her appearance . Since her birthday was coming up he started doing some early shopping, the purse is one of the many "little" early gifts he's picked up for her.
"Yes and You look good too papa." Tati smiled as she ran a hand down his shirt. They stared at each other for a moment.
"Come on fa we go back up stairs." He said grabbing his keys making her laugh while grabbing her phone off the table.
They hopped into his car before heading towards her aunts.

"Hey there baby!" Auntie smiled as she held her arms open going towards Taurus. He smiled showing his pearly whites while embracing her making Tati smile watching the two.
"Wassup auntie how you been?" He asked after she placed an innocent peck on his cheek. "I been good how bout yourself?" She asked while placing one hand on her hip.
"Well dang you ain't gone say hey to your niece?" Tati said playfully making her aunt suck her teeth before going towards her. "Girl you knew I was coming to you next, hi niece." She said as they hugged each other.
"Y'all come on in, Malik and his girlfriend are on the way." She added as they made their way inside, taking off their shoes at the door.
"Oh Mr. Bernes patched up this hole right here?" Tati noticed as she looked at the wall by her shoes. She remembered two years ago when Tatum accidentally kicked a hole into the wall trying to take his shoes off too fast. "Oh yeah hunny, he been repairing everything to keep his self busy." Camille shrugged as they continued to walk.
"Hey there young lady! How you been?" Mr Bernes stood up from the couch to embrace Tati making her smile. "I'm good how about you? I see you fixing the place up."
"Oh that's nothing." He waved her off. Polo shook his hand as they greeted each other before they started up a conversation. Tati went over to her baby sister Timani who was sitting on her little pallet with toys all around her.
"Sissyyy" mani smiled showing her little bit of teeth as she held her arms out to get picked up. "Heyyy maniiii babyyyy!" Tati exclaimed as she gave her a kiss on her cheek. Tatiana tried to keep talking to her but manis attention quickly went to Taurus as soon as she seen him walking up, causing her to whine and hold her hands out to him.
"You so fake Ms girl." Tati mugged her as Taurus took her from her. Tati watched as mani smiled ear to ear as Taurus played with her, she even started to cry when auntie came and took her so she could change her clothes.
"Oh hush you gone be right back baby. Camryn go stir that cabbage for me." Auntie said over her shoulder calling Tati by her middle name.
Tati went towards the kitchen while Taurus sat on the couch with mr Bernes to watch the football game.
After stirring the cabbage she checked the rest of the food. This Sunday Ms Camille made white rice, black eye peas, cabbage, baked Mac and cheese, fried chicken wings, and homemade blueberry muffins. Tati's stomach growled just smelling the food.
Meanwhile Taurus and Mr B were having a good convo. He reminded Taurus of his grandpa, an old school god fearing man. Polo was very close with his grandfather when he was younger. He taught him a lot of life lessons while he was young so that he knew better as an adult. Of course he screwed up from time to time just like his pop told him he would.
"Another touchdown let's go!" Mr B exclaimed as him and polo dapped eachother up.
Tati came back out from the kitchen just as mani and her aunt were coming back downstairs, mani now fully dressed.
"Aww you look so prettyyy!" Tati squealed while mani ran to her. "Side! Side!" Mani yelled pointing to the door. "Cmon." Tati said before picking her up and heading towards the front door. Taurus subconsciously got up and followed behind the two.
Once out the door they were immediately met with the heat of the summer sun. "Come here lemme get a picture of you." Tatiara called to mani who was riding around the yard in her little car. Baby mani got up running towards her and Taurus.

"Girl you need your hair done." Tati laughed as she snapped photos. She posted one to her story. She ran to Taurus and began pulling him by his pants leg towards her little car.
"I can't fit in there mani baby." Taurus chuckled as she kept trying to pull his leg into the car only getting frustrated. Before she could even start whining he placed her inside and started pushing her around every which way like a roller coaster causing both mani and Tati to laugh.
Soon Malik and his girlfriend Kiera pulled up. Malik got out the drivers seat and went around to open Kiera's door and helping her out.
"Wassup sis." Malik said greeting Tati as she walked up to them. "Heyyyy yall look good !" Tati said as she gave them both a hug. Malik was wearing a black graphic tee with army jorts and Jordan's while Kiera wore a cute beige sundress with a Jean jacket and a telfar bag going across her body.
"Girl you look good as always!" Kiera complimented making Tati smile. "It is hotter than a witches coochie out here though imma need to get inside before this leave out get to looking like a leave out OK!" She joked making Tati laughed and shake her head in agreement. "I know that's right girl I had to hurry up and put me some braids in, it's getting too hot for wigs."
"You ain't wrong, that just reminded me I need to book an appointment with you I wanna try them knotless braids with the lil curly pieces hanging out, you know what I'm talking about?" She talked as the two walked up the driveway. Meanwhile Taurus and Malik stayed farther back in their own conversation.
"Oh boho ? I gotchu girl just go to my page and set the date. Ouu maybe we could do a service for service, you know my birthday coming up imma need a fresh set." She added remembering Kiera does lashes and make up. She was also a substitute teacher. They continued talking as the men joined them before walking into the house.
Fast forwardddd they're now sitting down eating >>>>
"So what are your plans for your birthday Camryn?" Aunt Camille asked as she scooped up some cabbage. "To be honest I don't know, I always end up doing things last minute but I still got a few weeks to plan ahead I guess." Tati shrugged. "Girll you're just like me it really just slips my mind." Kiera added causing Tati to agree.
"I can see how, you both have business to run and more. But me, oh Ion play bout my birthday! Everything gotta stop soon as my birthday MONTH hit!" Auntie exclaimed making everyone chuckle. "Yeah auntie cause you want everything to be about you!" Malik joked. "Aye! Say it again for the choir in the back!" Mr B joined.
They continued to laugh and enjoy each others company until it was time for them to depart. Tati and Kiera helped clean up while also making some to go trays.
"Alright see yall later, yall be safe now." Auntie and Mr. B waved goodbye to the two couples as they got into their cars. Malik took Mani off their hands for the night since the twins were staying at their grandmas.
"As they pulled off Taurus played his old school playlist before placing his hand onto Tati's thigh. Tati smiled while looking out the window. Her body relaxed completely as she watched the blurriness around them.
