"Ok so you guys are almost ready to become official business owners we just have another manual to get thru, signatures, and then we have to split the different places between you six." The attorney spoke to Taurus and Duke, they were currently in the process of becoming owners of over half the business in the city.
It was actually perfect timing since a ceo and owner of hella spots just retired.
"Our next meeting is Wednesday, make sure the other four are there that'll most likely be when you guys sign off on things and things of that nature, any questions?" The older lady asked while checking her watch for the time. Both men shook the heads no making her smile before gathering her things. "Ok! Well that concludes the meeting, see you all next week." She shook hands before departing from them. The two walked out the office and stood at the railing.
Taurus looked around the closed night club from up top on the balcony where the office sat. This was one of the many places he was going to oversee. He could already see the vision.
"I still can't believe this Ian gone lie. Naomi gone be so geeked." He added and Taurus nodded in agreement. "Shii. Tati too, she been telling me to leave the streets alone." He said. Since he brought her up, he grabbed his phone and went to check her location, she was still at the hair shop.
They chopped it up some more before making their way to their cars.
Taurus yawned as he started the car, lately he hasn't gotten the best sleep and he's not sure why.He pulled off and headed in the direction of Walmart.
10 minutes later
Taurus pushed the buggy down the aisle as he grabbed ingredients to make baked ziti. He wasn't much of a cooker but he definitely knew how to, his mom made sure of that. He also picked up a thing a grapes and a fruit bowl for Tati. As he was going to check out a buggy plunged into his from the side almost tipping it over.
"Sorry! I was paying attention." He heard a girl say making him look down to see her picking up her purse, her phone, and a toy car that must've fell from the impact. "You good." He replied. "Hi." He heard a small voice making him turn to the little boy sitting in the front of the buggy.
"Hey lil man what's your name?" Taurus held his hand up for a high five which the boy connected with his little hand. "I Kayden." He smiled showcasing his two missing teeth in the front. Taurus couldn't help but notice how similar him and the boy looked. He looked over at the girl and she had similar features too making him raise a brow.
Despite the little boy dressed in clean looking clothes, the girl looked like she was barely holding on. Her black tang top hung slightly off her shoulder ripped, her sweatpants had dirt and stains, and her sandals were roughed up. Also if you looked long enough you could see a bruise forming on her left eye.
Taurus wasn't sure if he should mind his business or ask if she was ok. But before he could say anything she was moving around him and heading towards a different aisle.
Taurus went ahead to the self check out line and scanned all his items before heading out to his car. Once inside, he tried to wait a few minutes to see if the girl and her son would come out but they didn't making him shrug before pulling out the parking space and heading home.

"Aye ma! Where you at?" He called out as he walked into the house. He took off his slides by the door before going to the kitchen and setting the bags on the counter.
"Hold on!" He heard Tati say from upstairs. Since it was already about 6pm he decided he was just gonna start dinner now.
"You ok?" Tati asked as she came up to him and kissed his cheek while he washed his hands. He nodded his head looking towards her. She was so beautiful and she didn't even have to do too much. Right now she was rocking an oversized shirt with basket ball shorts on and her braids were covered by her bonnet and scarf.
When she came home from working at the shop all day all she wanted to do was get in shower and relax her body with the hot water.
"Ouu you cooking tonight?!" She exclaimed as she watched him take all the ingredients out the bags. He's cooked for her a few times and she loved his cooking.
"How was your day baby?" He asked as he watched her sit on the barstool and begin watching him. "It was ok. I had to get up early cause I had 3 heads to do plus some lashes. Speaking of, why were you gone so early?" She rose her eyebrow at him.
"I had to go handle something." He chuckled keeping his answer short. Him and the guys agreed to keep the whole business thing a secret until it was official.
"Mmm." She side eyed him before continuing. "But yeah and the whole time when I was doing hair I was just thinking about our bed. In like five years imma be a staying at home wife and I can just be in the bed all day long while you work." She added making him chuckle.
"Not if we have kids by then. They gone have yo ass up and going." Taurus spoke as he began cooking. She just shook her head in disapproval. "How was your day love?" She asked him watching what he was doing. He shrugged. "Pretty straight I guess. I seen this girl and her son at Walmart and they kinda looked like me." He said furrowing his brows as he thought it over.
"What you mean?" She further asked eating some of the fruit out the bowl. "Ion een know it was Kinda weird. And she looked like she had a lot going on but before I could ask was she alright she went bout her day." He said making Tati pout.
"Aww.. I hope her and the baby ok." She added and Taurus nodded his head agreeing. Tati yawned while stretching her arms out.
"Go lay down ma, I know you tired. I'll wake you up when the food ready." He spoke to her making her let out a sigh. "I don't know why I'm so tired." She said as she made her way to the couch.
She grabbed the throw blanket sitting on the arm of the chair before laying across the whole couch.
As she drifted to sleep Taurus turned on some music on low volume and continued cooking.
