Cedric arrived at a closed off home and knocked on the door.

"Cedric…!"  The man who answered the door had a stunned expression that graced his features.

"Hey, Lucio."

"How long has it been?" Lucio asked, crossing his arms and leaning against his door frame.

"… Decades.  But I need your hell with something… if you don't mind."

Lucio nodded and invited him into his home.

"How's Bia?"

"She's good; all grown up now," Cedric replied with a smirk.

Lucio scoffed.  "Great.  What is it you need?"

"There's this wolf I'm… acquainted with…"

Lucio lifted a brow.  "A… wolf-wolf or a werewolf?"

"A werewolf.  Met him after you and I split up for a while.  He has a mate bond with Bia."

Both of Lucio's brows shot upwards.  "Oh!  Interesting…"

"Yeah, I like to f*ck with him a lot.  Anyway, he—Angel—came to me about dreams he'd been having, and I figured you'd know about them if I explained the nature of these dreams to you."

Lucio listened intently to Cedric explain about Angel's situation and the mysterious pull Cedric felt from it.  Lucio took mental notes and came up with a conclusion, just as Cedric predicted he would.

"I'm thinking that Angel might be experiencing some memories," said Lucio.

"Memories from me?"

Lucio shook his head.  "Memories from Drake."

"… Drake's memories…"  Cedric said to himself quietly.  Drake… the one he hadn't thought about in so long… his heart before Bia.

"I believe so.  And in that vein of thought, that could only mean one thing—Angel could be a reincarnation."

Cedric's had clasped over his chest.  He could've sworn that his heart had come back to life to beat one more time.  Could Angel really be his beloved sire that was wrongfully terminated hundreds of years ago?

"Cedric?" Lucio put his hand on Cedric's shoulder after he'd suddenly gone silent.

Cedric looked at Lucio and released a breath he hadn't known he was holding.

"… I'm fine.  Suppose I should tell Angel?"

Lucio nodded.  "It would give him some explanation as to what's happening to him.  Now sit.  I'm aftaid you're gonna pass out."

Lucio was joking, but in reality, that's exactly what Cedric felt like doing.  It was one hell of a bombshell that had just been dropped on him.  He definitely did need a little bit of recuperation.  Cedric spun the precious signet ring that Drake possessed, and now it seemed like it had more meaning.

Now, the only thing left was to figure out how to break something like that to Angel… and to Bia.
