Next morning ~

Zaid pov-
I've already took a half day leave for the appointment of Rimsa , she's busy with cooking right now and she has also taken half-day leave as we both have important work and had already taken a long leave for our wedding , so now we can't ignore our work , I've appointed the best lady doctor for Rimsa who is my colleague who is super friendly and kind

End of zaid pov-

They Both drove to their destination which was the hospital where zaid is working , during the whole ride Rimsa was quite which was understandable for zaid as he held her hand while driving making her feel safe and comfortable " kuch nhi hota jaan , aap tension mat lijiye me aapke saath rahunga till the end alright ? "

This sweet words and nicknames that he often used for her always didn't fail to make her feel butterflies in her stomach

" first we will do some tests with empty stomach then I'll take you to my one of the special place for breakfast so .... Is this alright with you ? " Parking the car in the parking lot he asked her softly cupping her cheeks making her look more adorable as she nodded " words darling " his deep voice was making her nervous suddenly

" Y-yes " she stuttered as he got out of the car and helping her out as well , her hijab was making her face look more round and smaller than before for which everyone was staring at her as she walked beside the most handsome and successful doctor of their hospital as well as she was looking more younger than her age .

Stopping by the a door on which his name was imprinted with dr Sayed Zaid Ali, as he led her towards his cabin following by closing the door and making her sit on the couch which was looking much expensive than she thought

By kneeling infront of her he faced her making eye contact that he always does whenever she feels overwhelmed and nervous , holding her small hands in his , he kissed them softly making her blush with the sudden contact with her skin

" Like you always have trusted your mother just like that trust me and I know that I can't fill the place of your father but I can guarantee that I'll try my best to give you all those love that you craved from your father , I know that you were not so quiet because of this check up at all but because you miss your father right ?"

His words surprised her , never ever had anyone could able to read her emotions except her mother but today he did , she was looking at him in surprise , tears welled up in her eyes making it hard for her to control her tears " h-how " that's all she asked

" Mom called me today ( rimsa's mother) she was asking for us to visit her as she was worried about you that you would be missing your father as I ensured her that we would be visiting them soon but not today , aapko pata hai ki aap ko rota dekh kar mere dil ko takleef hoti hai darling , ab apko koi hurt nhi kr sakta jabtak main zinda hoon aur apka bhi ye hak banta hai ki aap mujhe saza de skti hain jab hum aapko kisi wajah se hurt krein toh lekin jaan me aapko kabhi bhi takleef nhi de sakta " ( do you know that my heart hurts when I see you crying darling , now no can hurt you till I'm alive and you also have the right to punish me whenever I hurt you but my life I'll never be able to hurt you )

As she nodded and hugged him tightly making him stumble a little to which he embrased her more tightly as if she would dissapear if he losen the hug"I'm so thankful to Allah that he gifted me a very kind , caring , and little bit strict and handsome man as my  husband  , I've always been afraid that what if my husband will also be like my father was to my mother ? But all those worries faded away when you came into my life zeb !!"

She expressed her feelings to which he gave a long kiss on her forehead lovingly spreading comfort all over again within her 

They were interrupted by a knock on the door followed by zaid's serious voice allowing the person to enter into the room , a nurse walked  inside with a tray in her hand which was obviously known by Rimsa till now that what was coming to her ....

zaid instructed the nurse to keep the tray on the table and give them some space , as soon as she left Rimsa gave him her most famous puppy eyes that would melt anyone's heart if they stare at them to which zaid had to be strict as this is related to her health and he didn't want to neglect it in any way

"Jaan dekho kuch nhi hoga , and I promise that it'll only feel like an ant bite nothing more darling please co-operate with me ? Hmm? "

(See here darling nothing will happen )

As she hesitantly nodded her head making him sigh in relief as  he gave her a forehead kiss making his way to the basin to sanitize his hands and wear gloves and made his way towards her with the injection holding behind his back as he knew she would be scared to see that horrible needle

"Now jaan close your eyes for me hmm , and follow my instructions that I told you earlier at home , hmm "  he gently hold her hand and folded the sleeves up to her elbow then  tied the band where the blood circulation would be stopped and searched for her vein and then applied the alcoholic liquid on the site to sanitize " now deep breath in and out.... hmm just like that ... Breathe in and out "... Just then he inserted the syringe in her vein making her scream "shh .... Bas bas Mera bacha ho gya shh  bass "

After collecting her blood he put the samples in their place and after sanitizing his hands he pulled her into hug , softly rubbing her back with his soothing voice saying sweet nothings 

After sometime when she calmed a bit he made her drink water and instructed the nurse to take the sample to pathology lab for the reports till then he will make her eat her breakfast
Turning towards his wife who was busy with his phone reading something very serious which shows in her expression

"So what my Jaan is reading ? Hmm ? It seems that it is very important than me to you I guess ... Well , ok I'll go do my duty you keep on reading those articles " he teased her as he knew she is doing intentionally to ignore him , by hearing him she immediately kept the phone down and looked at him with her doe eyes

"Now what do you want from me dr sayed ? " As she huffed getting annoyed by his behaviour  according to her as her periods are near so she couldn't able to control her emotions to which sometimes she feels guilty because of her outburst most often her husband suffers the most

" I want my begum to have her breakfast and then we will move to your appointment with dr saima , and she's one of the best doctor and believe me you'll be comfortable with her "

Time skip ~

Throughout her check up zaid was beside her holding her hand to keep her calm which worked well  , as the reports came which was not so good that the doctor instructed her for a strict diet with foods full of nutrients and exercise daily to which her body will be fit and healthy ....

Zaid also promised himself to take care of her and not to neglect her health , Rimsa was quite all the time even after coming back from the hospital to which zaid held her hand softly making her look at him " jaan , you know that you can share anything with me right ? "  As she nodded  quietly  making him sigh as he decided to clear everything after reaching home

Assalamualaikum  everyone , I'm sorry for updating this chapter after a decade but as I told you earlier that I was expecting my results of my boards so they are out and alhamdulillah the results are good but not that good as I expected but anyway I'm hoping to improve more in future and please keep me in your duas that I get into my favourite University .
