"You're intruding on what's mine, and you're taking up my time,"
Mason had left a while ago to give me a break, making it very clear he plans to keep me alive, despite all the electrocution. I'm really, truly surprised I've lasted this long. Usually, I would only have half a working brain by now, but everything still seems to be working fine. Or, as fine as it can be, with the only sleep I'm getting being when I get knocked out from the electrocution, or pass out from pure exhaustion.
"Don't have the courage inside me, to tell you please let me be,"
Singing seems to help. It helps make sure I can remember less important things, makes me feel better knowing I haven't even managed to forget a song lyric, let alone any memories. I spend a lot of my time down here thinking about memories. Happier ones, ones with Peter, when we would stay up too late watching stupid reality TV while he plays with my hair. What I would give to just sit on a fucking couch right now, let alone next to Peter.
"Communication, a telephonic invasion. I'm plannin' my escape,"
My words seem to slur together, my body too tired, muscles too sore to focus on stringing together full, coherent words and sentences. I have absolutely no idea how long I've been down here, all I know is I'm forced to eat every other day, just a slice of bread and a glass of water. He doesn't unchain me, just feeds me. Despite me biting him every time without fail, he refuses to stop feeding me, saying he 'doesn't want me to starve'. Wouldn't be good for the experiment, I guess. No matter how many band-aids and bandages he has to wrap around his hands and fingers when he's done.
In terms of kidnappers, he's pretty kind, I guess. He makes me eat, he makes me use the bathroom, he washes off my new cuts and burns at the end of the day, always surprisingly respectful of where he touches, despite the harsh scrubbing. It could definitely be worse.
The constant electrocution, being chained to a wall, being cold all the time, hair pulling and hitting aren't fantastic, but, it could be worse.
"Sorry, I'm not home right now. I'm walking into spiderwebs. So, leave a message and I'll call you back-"
The clunk of the lock makes me stop singing, my mouth snapping shut as I turn my head from the small beam of sunshine to the heavy door being pushed open. Mason steps in, an amused smile on his face I wish I could rip off.
"Oh, please." He encourages, motioning for me to continue before he turns, shutting the door behind him and flipping on the light. "Don't stop on my behalf."
"Aww, poor, sadistic baby. You bored out there?" I tease, cocking my head to the side as I watch him walk over to the counter. "Nothing to entertain you besides me? You know, most people just watch movies to entertain themselves."
"Why would I bore myself with movies, when I can just watch you writhe in pain instead?" He pulls out the usual concoction from the drawers, crushing, mixing, pouring.
