(A/N thank you SOO MUCH for your request!!! Just a disclaimer I haven't written something danganronpa related in ages so pls forgive me if this is a bit... ooc for their pregames? I also haven't written agere in a while as well so... sorry in advance D:)

Shuichi let out an exaggerated sigh, silently counting the raindrops through the window as he sat quietly in class, not paying attention to anything the teacher was saying whatsoever. He started down at his watch. Only 1 more minute to go, then he could finally see Kokichi again and get rid of this weird feeling starting to settle in his brain. Ever since he woke up he had felt... different. Like there was this side of him that desperately wanted to take over, but didn't. He simply shrugged off the thought when the bell suddenly rang.

The dark tealed hair boy had finally reached his and Kokichi's meetup area - the rooftop. His lips curled into a smile as he embraced the soothing wind, sitting at a nearby bench afterwards. He looked around, the area was empty. Nobody really came here expect for him and the shorter boy, it was... nice.

Shuichi's head perked up at a familiar voice shouting his name. Smile changing into a genuine grin, he turned to the source of the sound only to see his favourite person in the entire school - Kokichi Ouma. "Shuichi, hi!" the purple hair boy greeted, taking a seat next to the latter.

"Hey!" Shuichi replied, grin still remaining on his face. "How was class?"

"Oh! It was... normal. How about you?"

"It was normal for me too!"

"Wow really? That's odd considering your usual attitude of class. Are you doing okay?"

There it was again. That fuzziness in his brain wanting to take over. The feeling felt so uncomfortable but at the same time... he was so on the edge of embracing it. 'Stupid brain.' Shuichi thought.

"...Hello?.. Shuichi, you here?"

"Ah. Sorry." 

Did he really space out for that long? Geez his mind was really playing tricks on him today. Maybe if he just let that side of his brain take over a little bit...

"Shuichi..." The shorter boy frowned, "you're spacing out again."

"Sorry, jus m little" Shuichi mumured, shyly looking away from the other. 

"Li...ttle?? What does that mean?" Kokichi asked, mostly to himself. Whatever it was, he wanted to help. "Can I do anything for you? Do you want to go somewhere else?"

The little shrugged, fidgeting nervously. "M wanna go homee" he whined, voice cracking like he was on the verge of crying.

"Wait! Nonono! Don't cry!" the other assured, silently panicking, "We can go home right after you calm down, don't worry! Now..." he muttered, rummaging through his bag and taking out a gummy worm, "you want candy?"

Kokichi let out a sigh of relief as he saw stars light up in Shuichi's eyes, hands grabbing for the sweet. Kokichi, of course, handed it to the latter.

And so they both sat in peaceful silence, the only noise being the swishing breeze as the little chewed on the gummy snake, slowly but surely calming down.

"You okay now?" The purple haired boy asked, now looking at Shuichi, earning a nod in response. "Great!" Kokichi happily exclaimed, getting up from his seat. "Are you ready to go home now? We can relax more there." he asked as he extended an arm for the other to take - to which they did.

Kokichi didn't know what was happening, he'd probably have to discuss it with Shuichi once he was back to normal again. But for now... he had a 'little' to take care of, and that's all that matters.
