Megumi's slumber came to an end by the harsh morning light that came from the window of his room

But today everything felt different. He felt this weight on his chest. Everything around her smelled much nicer, life flowers or cherry blossoms to be exact

When he opened his eyes, he blinked a few times, getting used to the harsh morning light before looking down on his chest. His eyes immediately softened

There laid Sakura, sleeping peacefully. Her pink hair scattered around the single pillow both of them were sharing. She was still clunching his shirt, as if he'll vanish if she didn't

He didn't know why, it all felt increasingly more peaceful than before. Her smell, her soft smile and her presence was calming his nerves in more ways than he can describe

He stayed there holding her closer to him, just enjoying the peace while it lasted

After a good 20 minutes, she stirred up and her eyes fluttered open. She cutely blinked a few times, probably taking in the surroundings before cuddling closer to him, which surprised him a bit, didn't she have work today?

He gently made her look up at him and was about to ask her the same question when she just came closer and kissed him on the lips again, catching him off guard

He didn't expect her to be so straight forward

But who'll say no to morning kisses? So he just went along with it. She clung onto him like there is no tomorrow

After 20 more minutes cuddling in the bed

"Sakura?"

She hummed

"We need to get up. We have to train for the goodwill event"

To his surprise, she whined. Squeezing herself closer to him, she looked up at him with puppy dog eyes that made his heart melt

"But I don't wanna "

He sighed, making her look back at him

"You're acting like a baby, Kura... Okay, what do you want to do?"

Her eyes lit up with that

"Let's stay in bed the whole day and cuddle!"

He shook his head again with a gentle smile, his hand gently glided though the curve of her waist where his t-shirt hiked up during the night, mapping the porcelain skin in a very intimate manner

She didn't look uncomfortable, but did look a little down when he told her they had to wake up

"What if something happens to you?"

His eyes softened, she was just so scared

He sighed again and brought her closer to him, his fingers gently gliding through her bottom, right on the end lining of her underwear

"Listen love, we're Jujutsu sorcerers. Danger is out profession"

He gently told her, Only to feel her clunching harder on his shirt

"B-but... I've decided now"

"That I'll never let u out of my sight and make sure always come with you in where ever you go. So I can always protect you"
