"Open the damn door or I'll knock it down again," Luka thundered.
Amanda quickly opened the front door. Oliver was lounging on the couch, watching TV.
"Do you know how much these doors cost?" Amanda asked angrily.
"Very well, considering I paid for them," Luka replied casually.
Luka entered the house, visibly upset.
"Come right in," Amanda said sarcastically.
"We agreed a month ago that you would move in with me, and you're still dragging your feet. You can't live here alone. It's not safe!" Luka yelled.
"I'm not alone," Amanda replied coldly.
He glanced briefly at Oliver.
"You're living with another man, not me. Are you out of your mind?" he said sharply.
"Don't exaggerate. Oliver is my personal assistant and couldn't stay in the hotel forever. Besides, I owe him. The house is too big for just one person."
"You're my mate and you're carrying my child!" he said sternly.
"And that hasn't changed, but I'm not ready for cohabitation."
"Why? Explain it to me, please, because I really don't understand," he said sarcastically.
Amanda shifted uncomfortably. "I'll choose my words carefully. Please, don't get angry."
"I won't."
"You're already angry."
"I am. I promise I won't throttle you."
Oliver chuckled. They both gave him a nasty look. "Something funny on TV. Pretend I don't exist," he said charmingly.
"Luka..."
"Amanda."
"You're suffocating me."
"I'm not suffocating you. I'm looking out for you."
"You are suffocating me. You act as if I'm sick, not pregnant. As if I'm incapable of living independently. You're constantly breathing down my neck..."
"That's not true!"
"It is true, and don't interrupt me. You don't even let me drive the car."
"Don't exaggerate."
"I'm not exaggerating! Every time I put on my 'mini,' you suddenly feel the need to leave the house and go exactly in my direction. Don't think I'm stupid."
"Do you know the percentage of car accidents?"
"Oh... stop, you sound like Anna. And you hide chocolate and chips from me!"
"You can't eat junk food for 9 months!" he shouted.
She grabbed her head. "I can't take it anymore. You're too possessive. A control freak!"
"My love..." he took a step towards her, grabbing her hands.
"When you put it like that, it seems like I may have overreacted a bit," one of his eyebrows raised.
"You don't take me seriously."
"I take you very seriously. I didn't sleep all night because you weren't by my side. But until we solve your father's problem, you're not safe."
"I'm safe with Oliver. He worked as a bodyguard," Amanda asserted.
"You're safest with me!" Luka said authoritatively.
