3 years later

Everything had turned out fine for everyone like Jungkook who shifted to states with his daughter to start from a new point and Jimin who's daughter was fine now as Taehyung helped him with the surgery and so was Jin, he was seeing a new girl now because he was tired of being alone. He had accepted Ria's death finally now.

Except for Taehyung who was missing Jia. He had not initiated a contact to her because he didn't want to lose her completely.

"How do you feel these days? Do you feel angry?" Taehyung's therapist asked as he looked down.

"Better, and certainly not mad!" He replied shortly.

"Then what is it that is keeping you away from being happy?" She asked.

"Guilt, immense guilt!" He replied playing with his fingers.

"How can it go away?" She asked.

"If she forgives me, yes if she does forgive me, I will be alright!" He nodded.

"Even if your wife doesn't want to stay with you?" She asked and he ceased.

"That would be hurtful but if she wants that, I will accept that but she needs to forgive me." He said biting his lips.

"Go to her and earn her forgiveness then." She suggested.

"I am sure she hates me and I don't want to see that, it would be the end of me." He replied before he walked away.

He thought about his therapist's words and he couldn't hold back and flew to Paris.

Though he wasn't a part of her life anymore, he still kept a track on her whereabouts.

________

Jia smiled as she walked around the roads of Paris. The city was full of optimism. It was the best decision of her life to come here.

She had healed from her trauma, she had learnt how to live with it.

Did she feel lonely and empty? Very much. Did she miss him and them? A lot. But did she have the courage to meet him again? Probably not.

"Jia?" She heard his voice and she looked back amidst the crowd.

Someone accidentally pushed her and she almost hit the ground when he held her.

Only if he had held her like this too when she was drowning a few years back.

"Why are you here?" She asked.

The biggest drawback of their separation was no confrontation. They didn't talk about the things that bothered them openly and went their way which automatically made them hungry for eachother's presence.

They had so many questions for eachother but they still chose to seperate with them unanswered.

"For you. I couldn't hold back anymore. I thought 3 years were enough for you to heal and now it's time to think about us." He stared at her. After a really long time he was close to her. "It's our anniversary." He completed.

"I thought we were done. I don't want to see anyone, you didn't want a divorce so we separated like that." She told him.

She was mad that it took him so many years to come after her and chase her or beg for her forgiveness. All the while she was in Paris she kept waiting for Taehyung to come one day so they could be on a good end one day.

"I never left you Jia. You were always under my surveillance." He touched her face.

"I don't think I am ready to forgive you." She shook her head and he smiled.
