Mikasa finally gathered the courage to go past through the first page. The story started with a handwritten letter print. She flipped through all pages and the book was basically a collection of some handwritten letters. She checked out the book summary it says it was the complications of the author's unsent letters, written on his dairy for the girl he met when he was 19, but with the unwanted twist of misfortune they got part away. He didn't have her address to send the letters so he kept them to himself. Now after 12 years of waiting and searching for her now he chose this way to reach out to her.

Hey, how are you? I was wandering alone through your comfort place. The river seemed to have lost its life. The grass here is not pretty like how it used to be. The breeze is not warm, welcoming anymore. It is just suffocatingly quiet. The nature here seemed to withdraw. Everything here is missing you. Including me.

You probably wondered why I disappeared without a word. To tell you the truth I didn't get the chance. That night my father came home, after losing everything in gambling. He borrowed money from a lot of places and lost it too. And we had to evacuate in the dark night and go to somewhere far away in a new village where no one knew us. After that we kept moving out frequently because of our ocean filled debts. And then all of a sudden he left home and disappeared. We still have no idea where he went. My mother had to work hard for us and to repay the debts. We went through a hard time. I had to work multiple part time jobs to support mom. I insisted on dropping out but she didn't let me.
Why am I saying this all of a sudden? Because my mom left me alone on this earth a week ago. She suffered a lot. From the moment she married my dad to till her death bed she only suffered. My father never was responsible. He never fulfilled his duty as a father, as a husband instead he kept making everything harder for my mom, for me, for my sister. I hope my mom now finds peace, happiness in heaven.
I miss you a lot today. Wish you were here. Things wouldn't be this unbearable then I guess.

Ya! Did you take an oath to not come back here anymore? On your last two birthdays I visited here hoping I could see you here, in your usual comfort place, folding your 'Pride and prejudice' book, pushing up your glasses, so focused in your world with your Mr. Darcy, flipping each page, your eyes moving along with each word, and conveying every emotion written in those papers, you unknowingly biting your lips, the sudden movement of your pupils delighing, your lips curling up to draw smiles, just you here being yourself. But nope this cannot happen. The earth will crash and explode into dust if you come here. all living beings will get crushed and die if you come here to me. So you must stay away to be the savior of nature. Okay be like this. If I suffocate here alone and die then you will be the reason. I will tell God about you, about how this little girl suffocated me to death by forgetting my existence.
