Watch and protect

chapter 2

(lmao sorry for not posting but uhh.. alright I was procrastinating and I have school again soo yk not often updates but I hope you can forgive me. Also I hope you like this chapter!)

Branzy pov

"New day, new problems.." I mumble to myself as I leave my room, heading towards the kitchen. Since me and Clown build the casino, we decided to make a secret base inside, and we made it our house. Not that I'm complaining! I enjoy Clown's company, he protects me, and I have redstone skills, so we help each other out (and he doesn't need to know that our 'business partners' status gives watchers more reason to target him, which gives me oportunity to repay his protection).

Still half asleep, I enter the kitchen and see Clown, eating some kind of sandwich. "Morning..." I say sleepily, and he answers the same back. "What time is it?"

"It's 8am already sleeping beauty, normally you wake up at 6." he responded, looking at his chat window to check the hour. (so I dunno how to say that but imagine a big floating square that the players can type on ok?)

"Damn 8? I swear I put my alarm on 6:30 today.." I whisper under my breath "Wait.. how do you know that I wake up at 6? And also did you just call me 'sleeping beauty'?" I say, feeling something warm crawl up my neck.

"Uhhh nooo and not your business.." he answers, looking away but I see a small blush spreading on his face out of embarassment "Anyway I made you breakfast already so sit down or it gets cold." he says quickly, pointing at the food on the table.

I sit down in front of him, sliding the plate over and eating the food, as I listen to him talk about the casino games and plans. When I finished, I asked him "Do you want me to draw the blueprints for your plans or something?". He quickly replied with a nod of his head "Alright, I'll start making them as soon as I'm finished with my plans for the day." I answered, standing up from my seat.

"And thanks for the food, I really liked it." I say with a smile, looking at him "Thanks I guess, and thank you in advance for the blueprints." he replies, looking at me too "No problem!" I answer leaving the room.

'Oh right- where did the eye go? I haven't seen it since yesterday..' I question in my head, before entering my bedroom. I look into my mirror 'Might as well do my makeup..' I think as I grab the mascara and other things.

As I was doing my makeup, I suddenly see the eye appear next to me with a look of distress. "What happend?" I ask it, finishing and turning around to look at it.

"So I was looking around the server and the admin looks like he's about to pass out of overworking-" it quickly says and my eyes widen slightly at the information "Parrot? I told him to stop doing that.. We're going there to check up on him." I say, getting ready to leave.
"Uhm and also I'm pretty sure that on his panel was a watcher warning-" the eye confesses as I look at it with honest suprise and my gaze quickly turns sharp.

"We. have. to. go." I say, speeding up to leave my room. "Hey wait! If the watchers attack then you should probably maybe change?"

That actually isn't a bad idea. I enter my room again and lock the door before transforming to my watcher form, as a purple glow surrounds me.

Eye's pov

I look at him in suprise because, how often do you see that? The (non)human was glowing for heavens sake! As I watch for a while, I see him unfolding his wings on his back, and a slight change of clothes? After a minute, the purple light covering him starts to disappear, and I see his watcher form in all it's glory.

He was wearing a white, mixed with light purple flowy robe that looked like a Hanfu robe, a face veil that covered both his eyes and mouth complety, the same colour as the robe. His hair still looked really fluffy, but now had purple tips at the end of it. His wings seemed larger than usual, matching the robe's colours. He was also slightly taller than normal. 'So that's the form of a runaway watcher..' I thought to myself, because even though I am one as well, I'm not capable, powerful enough to turn into something else than an eye.
