16- True 'Nightwings'

Destiny prepared herself to meet the Queen, Queen Blackstar, if she was as cruel as everyone said then she might not want to anger her. Destiny entered the throne room, Queen Blackstar sat on her throne, she was larger than most and fatter than most, Destiny wondered why no one had just pushed her over, she looked like she wouldn't be able to get up.

As Destiny got closer and bowed she realized that she wasn't fat, she was wearing a cloak made from Nightwing scales to hide her form. The Queen looked down and said, "I see we have a new nightwing to add to our ever growing tribe." She said in a way that made it clear she was just pretending to be nice.

As Destiny bowed she said, "Queen Blackstar, I seek the guidance of the true nightwings, I plead with you to let me join." Blackstar smiled and suddenly took off her robe, revealing her toned and threatening form as she said, "Very well, as tradition, you must remove one scale to add to the Queen's royal robe. Oh, but where are my manners, what is your name, young dragonet?"

Destiny stood up at attention and replied, "I am Fallenstar." Queen Blackstar looked at Destiny and said, "Interesting, never heard of yo-" Suddenly, Snowstar ran in for the distraction, she charged at Queen Blackstar with a dagger but Destiny quickly knocked her down, where she pretended to not be able to move from under Destiny.

Blackstar looked at Destiny with surprise and said, "I see, you truly are loyal, good, although I could handle myself, you have proven to be courageous, I'll retrieve the guards." Blackstar left, her powerful talonsteps were shaking the floor, Destiny kind of understood why everyone feared her.

Suddenly, Snowstar said, "Did you see her?!? She was huge! No wonder nobody wants to fight her directly!" Destiny nodded and said, "Yeah... I honestly hope this works."

Quickly, Blackstar returned with Blackheart and Whisper, "I brought two guards to take that fool to the cells, I'll deal with her later." As Snowstar pretended to struggle as Blackheart and Whisper took her away, Blackstar then said, "Fallenstar was it? Such a beautiful name, you have proven yourself worthy of my trust, so I'll skip all the test." Destiny nodded and bowed as she continued, "You see Fallenstar, there is a rebellion against me... But I caught their leader and they think she's dead!"

Blackstar then motioned for Destiny to follow her, deeper into the caves and behind a secret entrance, inside was a single cell, with a dragon tied down to the ground, she had dull blue eyes and dull black scale, but even with all of that, Destiny recognized her. "This is the leader of the rebellion, my prisoner, Necrotic." Blackstar said with a gleeful tone as Destiny looked on with invisible horror.
