Snowcap was excited, he had just received a letter from someone claiming to be his father! Snowcap in all reality wasn't to sure if he believed the letter, it could be Spruce trying to prank him back but Snowcap wouldn't mind that so it was worth it. The letter had said to meet awhile away from Jade Mountain, Snowcap of course came prepared, he brought chess pieces, a dagger and some darts he had made.
Snowcap landed at the cave entrance and waited, he wanted to see this dragon for himself. Suddenly, a large make Skywing landed nearby, as he walked toward the cave his features became more and more noticeable, his Wings were slightly bent like Snowcap's, his face was a perfect reflection of Snowcap and he had a star shaped scale pattern on his left wing.
Snowcap then noticed something off, this dragon was here way to early, the letter said moon high and the sun had just set, plus this dragon looked only slightly older than Snowcap. The skywing seemed to notice Snowcap and rushed at him, Snowcap quickly reached for his dagger but the dragon stopped and said, "Listen, I don't want to hurt you! I came to warn you, I'm Ravine, I'm your older half brother, it's about our father!"
Snowcap stepped back a bit still holding his dagger as he said, "What about him, is he perhaps a bit burnt up about losing out on my mother?" Ravine slapped his face and said, "This is no time for jokes, he'll be here any minu-" He was cut off by another voice, "Now, now Ravine, you know what the queen does to dragons who disobey."
Ravine suddenly turned toward the sound seemingly trying to protect Snowcap as he said, "I won't let you or the Scarlet Spears hurt any more of my siblings, Valley!" The voice then spoke louder as it laughed and a skywing emerged from the shadows, "Now, is that any way to speak to your father, you pathetic insult to the Skywing kingdom!" His voice was calm yet made Snow cap shake.
Ravine continued to protect Snow cap although he was shaking like crazy suddenly Snowcap felt a dart hit his neck, he looked over and saw a dart in Ravine's neck. Soon, they both passed out as Valley laughed like crazy. Snowcap could only hope they'd be safe
