Over the last few days, the boys only fought off a few Croats, but it was quiet other than that. But then again, this town isn't as infected as other ones they've been to. They haven't seen the girl, which made them very lucky, but it probably won't last long. Sam would keep getting dizzy spells every once in a while, and Dean wanted Cass to keep an eye on him.

"I'm fine, Dean." Sam had said one day. "It's probably nothing, anyway."

"Like hell I'll believe that." Dean said, giving him a serious look. "We're still going to keep an eye on you, because who knows what could happen."

"Well, it's just the dizziness, that's it." He said. "So I don't need to constantly be watched."

Dean narrowed his eyes. "It doesn't matter. We're going to watch you, no matter how much you don't like it. So you can just deal with it."

They left it at that, and Sam ended up walking away from the motel for a while, just to clear his head. But when he came back, both Cass and Dean were staring right at him. Sam sat down on his bed, grabbing their dads journal.

"Nothing has happened, guys. So you can stop being so paranoid." He said, clearly annoyed.

"Something is off about you, Sam." Cass said, walking up to him. "These dizzy spells occur at least once a day, and you say that it is nothing."

"That's because I'm not worried about it." Sam said.

"Which brings us to this question: How are you feeling?" Dean asked.

His brother gave him an annoyed look. "I'm fine!"

"No sudden anger or wanting to kill someone?" Cass asked. "No flu-like symptoms or anything?"

Sam shook his head. "No."

"Okay." Dean said, narrowing his eyes. "We're still keeping an eye on you, though. In case something like that does happen."

Rolling his eyes, Sam gave a small nod as Cass stood, walking away. Dean following behind him, they went out into the hallway.

"He is not okay, Cass." Dean muttered. "Like you said, something is definitely off."

"We cannot do anything about it right now." Cass said. "All we can do at the moment is keep an eye on him."

"And what if he does turn on our backs? What are we going to then?"

"Kill him." Cass said immediately, making Dean tense up in anger. "It is the only way to stop it, Dean."

"No, there's gotta be another way." He said. "I'm not killing my brother."

Cass gave him a serious look. "What if you were the one that got turned instead of Sam? What would you have him do then?"

Dean hesitated, knowing what he wants him to say, but he said nothing and walked back inside the room, noticing Sam staring out the window.

"What is it?" Dean asked, looking behind him, noticing Cass was gone.

"I thought I saw something in that alley way over there." Sam said, gesturing to the two buildings that split down the middle across from the motel, revealing a narrow alley.

And when Dean was about to say something, they both saw at least five shadows darting around, and they heard ugly snarling, which could mean only one thing.

"More Croats." Dean said, grabbing his gun. "Let's go."

Sam nodded, and they both headed out after he grabbed his own gun, and ran to the alley way.
