They found another motel after another long drive in Seattle, Washington. When they found a room, they got settled in.
"Hopefully no Croats are staying here." Dean said, drinking another beer from his duffel bag. Sam took out his laptop and searched for any cases of the virus in town.
"So far nothing local...there were a couple cases but those got resolved." He said.
"So, this town's pretty clean so far."
"Yeah, so far...I'd give it until tomorrow, though. Some Croat will walk through here and go nuts."
"I wouldn't doubt it." Sam said, clicking on another link he found. "Get this: the virus started over a century ago, infecting it's first victim and they went nuts and ripped their throats out."
"Yeah and?" Dean asked, not really interested until Sam said the date.
"It started a century ago today."He stood up, looking at the article on the screen. And surely enough, it said the date.
"You gotta be kidding me." He said, shaking his head. "So this means that...whatever or whoever is doing this, does it every century?"
"Looks like it." Sam said. "So we need to find whoever is doing it and kill them. Doesn't say any specific way to do it so I guess we just stab them or chop their head off."
"Or it could be the girl that nearly killed us." Dean said, giving his brother a serious look. "I mean, think about it: she's been killing people and like I said, very nearly killed us. And she said that she won't hesitate to kill us next time we see her."
"That doesn't mean she's the one." Sam said. "She could be another hunter, like us."Dean laid down on his bed, looking at his brother.
"I'd still keep an eye on her. And we'll keep our distance." He added to Sam's wide-eyed look.
"Dean, you're clearly obsessed with her." He said.
"No I'm not, Sammy. I just want to make sure that she isn't the one that started this. And if she is, then we'll kill her."
Sam sighed, closing his laptop and setting it on the ground. "One minute you don't come up with suicidal things, and suddenly it's the exact opposite."
"Shut up, Sam." Dean said seriously. "I'm not doing anything suicidal, so don't get your panties in a clinch, like Bobby would say."
With that, he turned off the lamp to get some rest.
