The moment I got in the cab I knew it'd take a good amount of time to get to the photoshoot location, so I pulled out the dairy.
It's true that writing can be addictive.

However it was going to be hard to write in a moving vehicle but I still began writing•••

“   I didn't hear anything about Sunghoon the whole day. When the school was dismissed, I packed my books and thought to visit Sunghoon as both Jiyeon and Jaeyun accompanied me. We weren't surprised much when we didn't find him in the infirmary, it was obvious that he must have gone home considering his condition.

The next day, when I arrived in the classroom my eyes fell over the empty bench Sunghoon sat yesterday. I was feeling his absence despite his brief presence that could scarcely even be called it. Although we didn't talk, he no longer felt like an outsider but more than just familiar.

"Good morning class" Mr. Kang greeted us, interrupting my thoughts. He looked around the classroom and leaned forward to the desk as he took off his glasses, "Park Sunghoon, your classmate is in hospital. His condition is not alright, he'll not be joining us for a long time."

I wasn't as surprised as I was supposed to be, he didn't join us last year, either. But I did feel bad, thinking we'd again not be together as classmates.

"What hospital is he in?" Jiyeon asked, "I want to visit him."
I saw Jaeyun glance at her in displeasure when she mentioned him but he soon shrugged it off.

"Baekseong hospital, City hall main gate" he reported the address before starting the lecture.

-

The school came to an end as Jaeyun, Jiyeon and I seated ourselves on our bicycle saddles and began to head towards the hospital.

I was the first one to reach the destination as I parked my bicycle aside and waited for them to arrive before going inside. Jaeyun showed up instantly but Jiyeon was nowhere to be found.

She arrived after a long time and was sweating badly as she gasped for air. Jaeyun scoffed before handing her his water bottle, "drink up, grandma."
I almost giggled out of surprise and happiness when he walked upto her and began softly wiping off her face with his handkerchief as he tucked her messy hair behind her ears.
I could bet on my life that Jiyeon's heart is jumping inside her chest and butterflies are dancing in the pit of her stomach.

I walked closer to them with hushed feets as I secretly peeked to see Jiyeon's pink cheeks and her slightly parted lips. Jaeyun was lost deeply into her eyes as if he could look in them for the rest of his life.
Everyone knows that they're in love except for them.

I had no intention of ruining their lovely moment but I remembered we were here for someone else. I coughed, "we should head inside."
They immediately looked away from each other and Jaeyun ran inside before me, leaving Jiyeon alone with me for me to tease her.

"Park Sunghoon?" The receptionist opened the hospital records,  "I'll look for it."
We waited for her as she looked through the register, she closed it and looked up at us. "He was discharged this morning."

"Can we have his address, please?" I asked but she shook her head.

"I can't do that,  we need to respect the privacy of patients"
We thanked the lady politely before leaving the hospital.

"What now? It's like the universe doesn't want us to meet him" Jaeyun leaned against the bicycle, dramatically shaking his head. "It was the first time that I was being so kind to meet someone despite how busy I am. All in vain." He again shook his head the same way.

"What are you even busy with, Jake? You're the most free person I know" Jiyeon couldn't bear him anymore as she snapped back in irritation. She has lots of patience but he's an exception. He sometimes can be too annoying.

"You didn't know, Jiyeon? He's busy with practicing yelling or what he sometimes calls singing." I added sarcastically as Jiyeon laughed and Jaeyun bit his lower lip, trying to calm himself down as I could hear him curse me under his breath.
Even while he was cursing me out and Jiyeon was dying of laughter all I could think of was Sunghoon, I wanted to check on him.

I tilt my head to the side, thinking of a way to meet him. Suddenly a thought clicked inside me as in a split second I got up on my bicycle. Both Jiyeon and Jaeyun whipped their heads to my direction in bewilderment. I didn't say anything until I pushed the pedal down and was riding the bicycle away from them.

"Jaeyun, take Jiyeon home! Don't let her come behind me, she's already so tired!" I yelled as I kept on riding. I was going to ride back to school and then if possible, to Sunghoon's house, too. Jiyeon loses her breath easily while walking, I didn't want to trouble her anymore.
Either by hook or crook, I'll meet you Park Sunghoon.

"Don't you dare call me Jaeyun again! It's Jake, Jake!" I heard him yell back.

After riding for a while, I got in the school building area as I rushed inside. The moment I got in the teacher's room, I spotted Mr. Kang doing some paperwork.

"Sir, may... I have Park Sunghoon's address?" I asked out of breath. He looked up at me with an amusing smile playing on his lips. He nodded as he grabbed the student's register, writing the address on a piece of paper before giving it to me.
"Thank you" I bowed and he just smiled.

-

It took me almost twenty minutes to reach the address. It was a quiet and decent looking neighborhood unlike mine.
I came across a large house with an ivory coloured exterior wall. It had a nameplate of 'Park residence' and I assumed it was Sunghoon's.
I entered, taking a deep breath as I knocked on the door and waited for someone to open it.
Finally the door opened as a middle aged woman stood infront of me, her facial features were so much like Sunghoon.

"Mrs. Park...?" I hesitated to ask. She nodded at my words.
"Uh, I'm Sunghoon's classmate. I'm here to see him, is he fine?" I saw her face lighten up just a little as she took me inside.

Even the inside of the house was extremely silent and it smelled like mint, fresh and cool. The furniture and the floor were made of white marble, giving the interior an elegant ambience.

"First room from right" she pointed upstairs. I bowed and thanked her politely.
