I sighed as I diverted my gaze to the window, I was almost near the photoshoot location. I closed the diary, tucking the pen in. Shortly after, the cab stopped and I got out.

"Is 'the edge ice rink' close by?" The cab driver nodded and told me it's a ten minute walking distance.

I began waking as my thoughts were still lingering with only one person, Park Sunghoon. Lately I've been thinking about him more than I should and that went unnoticed by me.

I stopped walking when I found the ice rink. Without any second thought, I found myself heading inside. It was my first time visiting an ice rink, I remember the last time I wished to go to one was with Sunghoon but we never got the chance.
Looking around the place, I felt nostalgic as strangely I could imagine Sunghoon here. If not here, I hope he's somewhere similar to this place. Even if not with me, I hope he got the opportunity to visit an ice rink everyday like he dreamed of.

I spotted the photography team already present there with all the needed equipment. I walked closer to them and showed them my ID card as I bowed.

"Uh, the ice skater model isn't here. You can wait there until he arrives." They informed me politely, pointing towards the chairs as I nodded.

Just when I sat down, I pulled my diary out as I thought to utilize my free time. I again began to write •••

“  When I was at Sunghoon's room, I softly  knocked on the door. It didn't open as I slowly knocked again.

"It's open, you can come." After sometime I heard a familiar voice but it was a little rough this time. My heartbeat increased unknowingly and I could feel my feets shaking restlessly. With a soft huff, I carefully opened the door and saw a sight I never imagined.

My lips parted when I stared at the familiar boy. We looked at each other without blinking our eyes as I stood frozen on my own spot. He looked as surprised as I was to see him.

Sunghoon was sitting in a wheelchair, seeming paler than last time I saw him. My mind flooded with questions and my heart overflowed with feelings I couldn't understand. I came back to my senses when I heard him scoff and look away from me.

"Are you... fine?" I sounded so sympathetic with that question that I wanted to slap myself. "I'm sorry, I- I came to meet you." I started again as I tried walking closer to him but he halted me with a single movement of his hand. He looked back at me. I couldn't read him completely but his eyes reflected some kind of hatred.

"Leave." He spoke with bitterness hinting in his voice. His fists clenched slightly when I stood still, "I don't need you to pity me, I don't need your sympathy."
He sounded bitter but his expressions looked hurtful to me. I gulped as I continued to look at him but couldn't form any words.

"Listen to me, I-" he cut me off, pulling his wheelchair closer to me.

"I told you I don't need you, don't make me feel pathetic!" His voice raised, causing me to flinch. "Leave." He breathed out, balling his fists.

I could no longer bear to stand there as I felt my eyes getting watery. I've never been shouted at, so this is how it feels? I only wanted to make him feel better and here, he made me feel the worst. I'm never coming here again.
I walked downstairs, wiping my tears with my sleeves. I halted when I saw his mother, I didn't say anything to her but bowed quietly.

"Do you know why Sunghoon went to school today? Despite the doctor and his condition forbidding him to?" Mrs. Park spoke from behind me, ceasing me in my steps.
"Because he wanted to experience going to school once again, he wanted to make friends. He wanted to go ice skating after school for the last time before his feets could betray him." I looked at her silently as she continued to speak. She forced out a wry smile, "but he couldn't..."

She dragged herself closer to me. "Do you know what he convinced me with?" She drew a long breath, "he told me, 'amidst the struggles of surviving, I forgot to live. I want to live for a moment, I'm too tired of just surviving.' I didn't refuse him then"

Mrs. Park never asked me to come again for his son but I knew that's what she wanted me to do. And I would, I would come again for you Park Sunghoon.

I stopped writing when someone called out for me, I stood up leaving my bag and diary on the chair. "Did the model arrive?" The person nodded, guiding me with him.

I found a tall and lean man busy talking to the photography crew with his back facing me. He wore a silk royal blue shirt with white full sleeves and his V-shaped neckline was laced with a silver glitter mesh fabric.
I supposed he was the ice skater, I didn't interrupt him as I waited for him to complete himself but the person who came with me spoke, making all of them glance over at me in the process.

The moment that ice skater looked at me, I recognized him. My breath got hitched in my own throat when our eyes met as my heart pounded against my chest.
His eyes also widened as they stayed on me. Slowly, his gaze turned cold as I heard him cough and shake his head lowkey before stuffing his hands into the pockets of his black trouser.

He took his eyes off me easily but I couldn't, just like the first time I met him.
I lost myself once again in your depths, Park Sunghoon.
He looked very different from the first time I saw him. He always looked good but the him I was seeing right now was just majestic. He has grown more masculine, taller and well built.
His dark silk brown hair added more to his attractive features.

"Shall we get started?" The people beside Sunghoon spoke, disturbing my thoughts as I blinked multiple times before nodding repeatedly.
