"Seohyun, get up and take these!" I heard my sister shout from the kitchen as I sat with my head against the dining table, struggling to keep my eyelids open

"Seohyun, get up and take these!" I heard my sister shout from the kitchen as I sat with my head against the dining table, struggling to keep my eyelids open.

"I'm not hungry, you can eat." I managed to yell back, rubbing my eyes.

"Aish" I heard her hiss, "how long will you run away from ramen? I put so much effort into cooking it."

"Effort? You literally cook it in five minutes. Why don't you ever make anything else?!" I whined while walking up towards her.
My sleep flew away because of the disgusting thought of eating that dish again.

She flashed me a smile, enjoying my irritated face. "As you said, I make it because it can be cooked in just five minutes. It saves time for someone as busy as me--"

There was a knock on the door as Aecha stopped talking. She flashed me another smile, signaling me to open the door as I groaned and stomped my feets. Since when did we start having visitors? That also early in the morning?

When I opened the door, my eyes widened seeing an unexpected person.
Why's Sunghoon randomly showing up at my house everyday? With his heavenly appearance.
I can't lie, he managed to look attractive in usual white shirt and black pants. Stop, what am I even thinking?

His eyes wandered around me before he covered his mouth. He coughed, shaking his head slightly as he spoke, "I came to inform you that the shooting is postponed. The videotapes will be recorded after a week or so."

I eyed him with confusion, "but why did you come here? You have my number--"

"Noona!" He cut me off and immediately ran inside, leaving me shoved to the side alone. I gazed at him weirdly as he chatted with my sister, giggling like a high school girl.
When did he get so friendly and extroverted? And he knows how to giggle?

I sighed and also walked inside. I stood beside him and stared at him suspiciously as he tried to avoid me.

"Sunghoon the photography team--"

"Noona, are you visiting the cats? Can I tag along? Yesterday certain someone didn't let me see them." He glanced over me with a huff before gently taking the tray of bowls out of Aecha's hands.

"Yeah? What an arrogant certain someone." Aecha rolled her eyes while also glancing at me as she guided the way for him.

Wait, why does it feel like they're suddenly teaming up against me?
I pressed my lips together that were slightly parted because of all the surprises and betrayal I received in the small amount of time, and followed them like a lost puppy who has been kicked out of the community.

"Look Sunghoon, they all want you to pet them!" Aecha laughed as Sunghoon continued to try his best to pet all of them.

I scoffed, crossing my arms on my chest. My cats, the cats that I own, the cats that are owned by me are running all over him lovingly and ignoring my existence. Wow.

"I'm leaving for the studio." I spoke calmly, earning Sunghoon's and Aecha's attention as they turned to me.

"But your breakfast--" Aecha paused as I glared at her.

"Let me drop you off" Sunghoon suddenly said, "I'm driving to the rink, I'll send you to your studio on my way."

I avoided his gaze that was now focused on me, "Your ice rink's in the different route, you don't have to."

"I want to." He quickly responded, causing me to look at him with something beating inside me abnormally. He realized how straightforward he was as he fumbled for words while looking here and there, "I mean, I- I don't mind. It's alright with me."

-

"Thank you for dropping me off and uh, the snack." I said when Sunghoon stopped the car in front of Mr. Shin's studio building.
He nodded at me before getting out of the car as he opened the door and held his hand out for me.

I didn't expect him to do that as I sat still in my seat confused for sometime before holding his hand with hesitation.

When he was assured that I held his hand completely, I heard a soft sound of giggle slip through his lips as I looked up at him in surprise.
But he suddenly leaned over my shoulder to lock the car's door behind me, causing me to freeze due to the closeness as I could feel his breath brush against my neck.

When I was still processing what happened earlier, he moved back to his place and was saying something which went unnoticed by me as all I could do at that moment was blankly stare at him.

"Huh?" I blinked my eyes, snapping out of my own confusing thoughts.

"Don't you want to head inside? Where are you lost, miss Hwang?" His last words were followed by a smirk as a familiar smugness laced with his voice.

I simply nodded, ignoring his question and irritating smirk as I began to walk. But instead of leaving, he continued to walk beside me.

I looked over at him with a questioning look but he only shrugged his shoulders, "I want to see your studio. I'm curious to know what kind of place you work at."

I abruptly stopped in my tracks as I faced him, "But I'm not interested in letting you know that. You can go now, thanks."

"Why? I don't see any problem with that." He continued to walk ahead of me while I was still standing.

"Sunghoon, please."

"No."

Oh lord, he's still as stubborn as he was back then. I had to be the one to give up as I guided the way for him unwillingly.

We took the stairs and finally reached the little studio as I opened the door.

When Jinhyuk's eyes fell over my figure, he quickly ran up to me and wrapped his arms around me, squeezing me as I gasped for breath. I was startled at first but patted his back while laughing, and slowly the entire crew crowed the doorway.

"I thought you resigned!" Jinhyuk sighed heavily over my shoulder, "I'm sorry on behalf of Mr. Shin."

"Why?! I paid everyone's salary, didn't I?" Mr. Shin asked as everyone nodded, yelling. "I even brought cash to pay you myself, Seohyun! Why'd  you even resign now, right?"

I hummed with a laugh when Jinhyuk finally moved back. I gazed at the crew members with a soft smile, even if working here pays little, I'll continue to work here. It's my home.
