I ignored Sunghoon's question and turned to open the car's door but I felt his hands wrap around my shoulders before he pulled me back to face him.
I gulped when I looked back in his eyes, what is he doing?
He leaned his face even closer to mine, making my breath hitch. "I asked you something, miss Hwang. Who's your date, hmm?" He asked in a soft whisper, locking his eyes with mine.
"Y-you." I stuttered the truth, not even thinking once. How would I? My mind went completely blank.
"Me?" He looked surprised and confused at first but soon his lips curved into a smirk, "how come I have the pleasure?"
Suddenly, all of it struck me. I immediately pulled myself away from his grip and unlocked the door with my trembling hands before heading out. I must run before he asks me anything else and I end up stuttering everything to him stupidly.
"Why are you so nervous? I just need you to explain it to me, I'm a little confused." He was quick to grab my wrist from behind, preventing me from taking any other step away from him.
What's wrong with him? Why wouldn't he let it slide? Aish!
I took a deep breath and faced him. Guess I have no other choice than to tell him everything now. Aecha, screw you and your bad timing.
"You're my date... because" I ignored his eyes, "because, uh, my sister thinks something's going between us and... I mean, don't you get it now?!"
He looked at me with a stern face, making me bite my tongue nervously. Hwang Seohyun, congrats! You humiliated yourself in front of him and now he'll think shit of you, great!
The sound of a laugh interrupted my thoughts and when I realized that it was Sunghoon's, I almost got a heart attack. He laughs? I was always right, his laughter would be a beautiful melody and it really is. The sound of his laugh is not less than an euphonious melody.
"Gosh, why do you look so tense? I understand it, I also have a younger sister and she's exactly like noona." His eyes traveled back to mine, "always teasing me about someone."
His sister, that's Yeji. I'm sure she has grown into a beautiful lady, I feel the urge to meet her all of a sudden now.
"Alright" I slyly smiled, "I shall go inside now. Thank you for dropping me and understanding my stupid sister."
I turned to leave but Sunghoon ran and stood in front me, blocking my way.
"Miss Hwang, you know what? I don't mind us dating." I choked on my saliva, hearing his words. His hand went behind my back and rubbed circles around it soothingly as he continued to laugh, his laugh ringing in my ear like a melody.
"I'll come to pick you up, okay? And don't let that guy hug you again." Those were the last words I heard from him before he disappeared into his car.
I shook my head and also started walking towards my studio building. When I was climbing the stairs, I let a heavy sigh escape my lips. So much happened between me and Sunghoon today and I would be lying if I say none of them affected me.
I'm left with a heart that's overflowing with different foreign feelings that I've never felt before. I'm confused and I'm pretending to not understand it even if I do a little because I think that's safer.
What's wrong with you, Park Sunghoon? No, I should be asking what's wrong with me instead? What's wrong with both of us?
I put a halt on my thoughts and opened the door of the studio with another heavy sigh escaping my lips. When I got a clear look of the studio's arrangements, my head tilted to the side in confusion. All of the shooting equipment was scattered around and everyone looked busy.
"Are we shooting something already?" I asked as I walked in but got no answer. Neither was I expecting any, everyone was too busy to notice me.
I had no options other than to get in the middle of the shooting spot to gain attention. But before I could do that, I saw a man directing everything with a script in his hands and not to mention he looked irritated.
"Song Yejun!" I screamed, making him look back at me. Him, our only scriptwriter is back!
He heaved a sigh of relief before he threw the script on the ground and ran to me, "Hwang Seohyun!"
"You didn't even call me before coming!" I slapped his shoulders, "and how's your family now? Did Mr. Shin force you to come? Aish, this man!"
"Is someone badmouthing me?" Mr. Shin popped out of nowhere, wearing rainbow glasses. This man has no shame about his age. He realized I was staring at his rainbow glasses weirdly, "Oh these? It's for celebrating Yejun's comeback!"
"I'm back with a great and long script, we'll be busy shooting that for a long time, that's why he's happy because it's money!" Yejun laughed and I wanted to laugh too but I didn't.

"Don't you want to come inside?" I asked Sunghoon after we got out of his car and stood in front of my house.
"Don't worry, I'll be there soon." He replied with a chuckle. I was confused but nodded anyway. I was about to go inside but his words stopped me again, "Are you alright? You look down." His hands gently tucked a loose strand of my hair behind my ears, making me look up at him.
"I'm fine." I managed to reply without stuttering as I could feel my heart race. He nodded and caressed my head softly. "I shall get going now." I managed to whisper and pulled back before running inside.
I sighed in relief when I quickly shut the door from inside. Damn, Park Sunghoon.
"What's up?" Aecha, who was standing in the kitchen, asked.
I looked at her before wandering my eyes around the paper and plastic containers that were placed on the kitchen counter. My feets subconsciously found their way towards them and I examined every package, almost startled to find fresh meat, vegetables and fruits inside them.
"Stop it, I went grocery shopping today." My mouth really fell open.
"You what?!"
"I've invited Sunghoon for today's dinner, so suck it up. And wear something nice, he looked so uncomfortable when he saw you in your frog pajamas last time."
