Elliot stepped out into the cool night. He gently closed the door to avoid making a sound and stared off into the distance for a while before starting to walk.

He opened the wooden gate to the fence that surrounded the house and stepped out, closing it shut behind him. Elliot started walking, pushing past the seemingly endless sunflowers. The further he got, the more the light started to disappear, and the more the natural light from the stars started to shine.

' It's beautiful,' Elliot thought as he walked, staring up at the clusters of stars. He continued walking, eventually coming to a path that meant he was far away from home. The patches of sunflowers slowly started to disappear the farther he went until there was nothing but a clear path of grass.

Seeing the clearing for the first time, Elliot marveled at the sight. For most of his life, he saw nothing but sunflowers as far as the eye could see, excluding the small front yard they had. He took another second to admire the night and then went running through the field. As he ran, fireflies started to rise from the grass, illuminating a faint glow.

He continued running in the field for a little while before stopping to admire the sight once more, especially since the fireflies were just dancing around with their light. Elliot smiled and began to wander once more. He walked for a while and then finally stopped when he reached a good distance. He felt the presence of another person and had the feeling that he was being watched.

Slowly, he turned to see another person standing in the field staring at him, Elliot stared into the person's metallic-like eyes as they stared back at him. The two were as frozen as statues, not bothering to move a single muscle.
