Minerva's POV

I made my way down the great hall and sat on my usual place, beside the great empty chair. Albus had, once again, gone on his secret trips.

Soon, the students started filling in the hall, the Gryffindor table was filled with a buzz of excitement, I guess they are still celebrating our win at yesterday's match, it was awesome. Severus had, again, lost his bet that Slytherin would win this year, that Harry was not going to play. I turned around and looked at the man mentioned, sullen in his seat. I turned my focus back to the students.

What next caught my eyes was confusing, Dean Thomas, upset? I guess I am just making up things again, it had happen a lot times after that bitch and her puppies shot those stunning spell at me - First, I caught Harry staring at Ginevra, Second I once saw him going up to Albus' office but there was no one when I checked again, weird it was going on all round him.

Than what came next was not at all imaginary - Romilda Vane, with her group of friends, Lavender, Lyra, and Sarah, dashing into the hall with Romilda crying loudly. Some other Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff girl got to them as they entered the room and they all tried to calm Romilda down.

My happy face was replaced with a frown to match Severus'. Before I could ask anyone what was going on, Ronald and Hermione entered the hall, and Hermione went to the Ravenclaw table and whispered something into Luna Lovegood's ear, I couldn't see her expression from where I was sitting but was sure she was happy.

Other Gryffindors filled in, they looked Happy. "Told ya" I heard Colac Prewt say to his Ravenclaw friend, Sinus Gothwal, who grumbled and took out a geallon.

I darted my focus down the Ravenclaw table, someone had apparently heard what Hermione had told to Luna and so the thing, probably gossip, spread like fire down the table.

Cho Chang was sitting there, a mixture of jealousy and anger on her face. Also, a few feet away, was sitting Micheal Corner, looking weird.

Soon the gossip fire spread through the whole hall and it was emerged in a loud murmer. The food appeared on the tables but no one payed attention to it, well no one except Ronald.

Suddenly all the voices stopped, I looked up to find Harry and Ginevra entering the room, their hands interlocked and staring into each other's eyes, ah they will fall if they don't look away, Dean is pulling out his leg to make them fall.

Everyone in the hall stared at the two of them, as they made their way ahead, not knowing about Thomas' leg. Wait - Are they a thing now? Did they finally accepted they liked each other? What happened yesterday at the party?

Well, if you are wondering, the newly made couple, I guess, didn't fell, thanks to Harry who decide to change the route midway.

I think they are together, never have I ever seen Harry that happy, not even on the day he was told that he was a wizard by Hagrid and he could leave his aunt and uncle.

Wondering how I know this?

Who do you think was that tabby cat surlking into the shadows?

Me ofcourse.

Now, back to the present, Harry sat on the table, across Ronald and Hermione, and Ginevra sat on his lap, earning a glare from her brother but didn't payed any attention to it. Her arms were around Harry and his hand were around her waist, staring at each other adoringly, yes, they were definitely a couple.

Excitement filled me too, simply because I had won the bet against Albus, and well, we all know that feeling of winning a bet, don't we?

Ginevra whispered something in Harry's ear and they both raced out of the hall and the murmer on hold, played again.

Later that evening,
Headmaster's Study.

"Well Albus, where are my galleons than?" I asked eagerly, yet professionally.

"On what basis exactly Minerva?" Albus asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Well, Ginevra Weasley and Harry Potter are together! I won the bet!" I said happily.

Albus set his many weird instruments to work and then sighed, taking out a pouch of galleons from his locker and handing them to me.

"You won." He simply said and I left the office happily.

I looked in the mirror, as I came back to my room, opened my hair and relaxed while brushing.

Today had been a great day.
