     Marinette's POV:

I could tell Adrien was glad to see me. I admit it was a relief, especially since I time traveled a long ways to see him. That and my space ship only blew up after I arrived here.

I was glad to get in touch with Alya who lived in the past with Nino. Those two were such a cute couple. I am glad it worked out for them to get married.

Goodness, I sounded like a hopeless romantice.

"Adrien, what is wrong?" I asked.

I could tell something troubled him even though I arrived safely.

"Well, I uh, was considered. You see, I thought you came to tell me you met someone," Adrien said.

"Met someone?" I asked. I could tell he was have me confused with some other girl.

"Yes, because well, it was not like I could keep in touch with you once I was home," He explained.

"I suppose that makes sense, but I assure you I didn't meet someone else," I responded.

I told him how some rude boy brushed me off when I asked about Adrien.

"It figures, that was my rotten brother, Felix." Adrien explained.

"Brother, wow, I did not know you had a brother, Adrien," I stated.

"Well, I happen to have Felix as my brother, and there is Bridgette too," Adrien told me.

"Bridgette, oh, yes, she is the nice young lady I saw earlier. She told me where to find you, unlike some people," I said.

"Where did Bridgette come from? Here clothes are rather strange," I  remarked.

"Felix rescued her from the days of the Romans. They held her captive and were trying to kill her." Adrien told me.

"Awe, how romantic!" I squealed. I began to ship Bridgette and Felix. Who knows maybe she is the one to soften his hard heart.

"I suppose it would be expect for the fact, Felix seems to think of her as a pest, and he still denies that time travel is possible, "Adrien said.

"Wow, then how does he explain my presence here?" I asked.

"I am not sure that I know the answer to that question. I do know that you traveled from the past to the future to see me," Adrien smirked.

"Yes, that I did," I smiled.

Adrien handed me a glass of water. "I bet you are thirsty after the long trip."

"Ah, yes, thanks, Adrien," I said.

Bridgette peeped her head around the corner then entered the room.

"Miss Marinette, would you like some bread, cheese, and grapes?" She asked.

"Yes, thanks so much, Bridgette. Adrien here has told me all about you," I said.

"Well, I am afraid, my story is not all that grand as yours. See, Felix does not even love me," Bridgette explained. She had fresh tears as she spoke.

I could not help, but feel sorry for her. It must be hard for her to love Felix only to have him turn out to be a selfish, jerk.

Bridgette set the tray on the table. I ate a grape.

I gave her a hug.  I saw Adrien walk off and return with an envelope. I  wondered about it.

I  handed her a handkerchief, "I truly am sorry Bridgette.  Felix does not know what he is missing, " I said.

"Oh, Marinette, you are a true friend," Bridgette said.

I could not agree more even though we only just met. She and I had a lot in common.

I ate a few more grapes, some of the cheese, and a bit of bread. "Where did such delicious bread come from?" I asked.

"I made it, " Bridgette replied.

"Wow, you are a talented cook," I said.

"You think so?" She asked.

"Yes, you are, "I answered.

I decided to help her.  It was the least I could do for my new friend.

Adrien smiled. He waved to Bridgette as she left.

"That was a kind thing, Marinette." He said. I could tell he was impressed.

"I plan to help her out, maybe then Felix will realize how blind he has been. Blind to the truth that Bridgette is the best girl out there for him," I said.

Adrien agreed. "Okay, but make sure that you do not over do things. I know you mean well, but Felix is a jerk. Besides, if he does not like her, no amount of makeovers in the world will change that," He said.

"I see, but it is still worth a try," I stated.

"I suppose so," Adrien said.

I sat back down and opened the envelope. I read the letter and sobbed. It was such a beautiful, heart felt letter I immediately felt overwhelmed. I missed my best friend Alya, but I was sure I made the right decision in coming here.

I was as sure of that as I am that I love Adrien Agreste.

I am sure now that Bridgette loves Felix and that he might even like her. I know he tries to act otherwise, but I find it hard to believe he would have rescued her if he did not care.

   I smiled.

Yes, Sir, I was determined to get Felix to admit his true feelings for Bridgette.
