     Adrien's POV:

I determine to keep both girls away from the center of the room. That is where the portals have opened and closed more recently. I can risk their being whisked away. I can tell Felix is troubled by it too now that he admits time travel is possible.

"Adrien, what do we do?" Felix ask.

"Yes, how can  we  be sure that no other travelers will arrive and take me away?" Marinette ask. I can hear her voice tremble as she speaks.

"There are no guarantees in life," Bridgette says. She looks sad.

"I will do my best to keep the portals closed off," I remark.

I handed Felix my special screw driver. I do not recall where I got it. I know it is unique and that he must hold onto it for me.  If something happens to me, he will keep the portals shut no matter what in order to keep the girls safe. Their safety takes priority over anything.

I  stood beside the table where the watch exploded. It was the third time it had done that. The first was when I made repairs to it, and the second was when I traveled back here from the future. It was after I helped the others far away.

I smiled despite the predicament I found myself in at the moment.

Felix held his arms up to shield Bridgette and keep her away from the center part of the room. He loves her despite his denial that she means anything to him. I could see Marinette's shocked look.

"Adrien, watch out!" Marinette screamed. I looked up to see some bright blue lights and bolts of what looked like electricity surround me. How?  I set up boundaries to attempt to keep the portals shut up. Those are the ones I knew about, what if there were more?

I tried to reach outside the light beams but felt my hands grow numb. What was happening to me?

Felix shook his head when Bridgette tried to move. "You are not going anywhere, Bridgette," He said. "But Adrien is in danger," Bridgette tried to argue. "I know, but you are not putting yourself in harm's way," Felix said.

I  felt my toes start to numb up too. Then, it was my ears, my waist, and legs too.

Suddenly, I felt myself turn into small little particles. Oh, my goodness, I thought. Am I about to die, explode, or what?

"Adrien!" Marinette screamed my name. That was the last thing I heard from her as I felt the rest of my body break down into small dust-like particles. I would have answered, but I could not speak.

I passed out. The pain, shock, and all made me blacken out.

    "Adrien, Adrien, no!" Marinette screamed.

I came too inside some strange space. It was white and full of more blue particles. I looked them over and realized it was more people. Where was I?

I noticed my body was reassembled somehow. I  could not figure out where I was or how to return to the others. I sobbed.  "Marinette," I whispered her name as if somehow that would make this more bearable.

The whole thing was all too unreal only it was my sad reality.

I could hear her call for me. Marinette, my girl was trying to reach me. Only, she could not because I was separated from her.
