They ran for what felt like hours, their legs aching and their breath coming in short gasps. Finally, they ducked into a nearby alleyway, hoping to lose the stalker in the maze of streets.
As they caught their breath, Taehyung turned to Jungkook and Jimin, his eyes wide with fear. "Do you think he's still following us?"
Jungkook's face was grim. "I don't know, but we can't take any chances. We need to get out of here, now."
Jimin nodded, his arm still bleeding. "I know a place we can hide. Follow me."
He led them through the winding alleys, finally stopping at a small, unassuming door. He rapped three times, and the door creaked open, revealing a dimly lit stairway.
"Quickly," Jimin whispered, ushering them inside. "We need to get off the streets."
As they descended the stairs, the door slammed shut behind them, and they heard the sound of locks clicking into place. They were safe, for the moment...
But as they looked around at the cramped, dimly lit room, they knew they couldn't stay here forever. The stalker could still be out there, waiting for his next chance to strike...
But no one followed them.....
