Jungkook's phone rang again, his partner's voice on the other end. "Jungkook, we've got a new lead. A security camera caught a glimpse of the stalker's face. We're sending the footage to your phone now."
Jungkook's eyes locked on the screen as the footage loaded. And then, he saw it - a fleeting glimpse of the stalker's face. Jungkook's heart raced as he recognized the features, but the face was distorted, as if intentionally blurred.
"Damn it!" Jungkook muttered, frustration etched on his face. "We're so close, but..."
Taehyung's hand on his arm stopped him. "Jungkook, what's wrong?"
Jungkook's eyes met Taehyung's, a mixture of determination and worry. "I know that face, Tae. But I can't quite place it. Yet."
The game of cat and mouse continued, with Jungkook and the stalker locked in a silent battle of wits. Who would make the next move?
