3rd person POV:

Jungkook's eyes were fixed on the door, his heart racing with anticipation. He knew that Jeonguk was on the other side, waiting for him.

With a deep breath, Jungkook opened the door, and his twin brother stood before him. Jeonguk's piercing green eyes seemed to bore into Jungkook's soul, just as they had all those years ago.

"Jeonguk," Jungkook said, his voice firm but laced with a hint of vulnerability.

Jeonguk's smile was cold and calculated. "Jungkook. 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼,𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿."

The air was thick with tension as the twins faced off. Jungkook's mind raced with questions, but he knew he had to stay focused.

"Why, Jeonguk?" Jungkook asked, his eyes locked on his brother's. "Why are you stalking Taehyung?"

Jeonguk's laughter sent chills down Jungkook's spine. "You'll find out soon enough, brother. But first, let's catch up on old times."

With that, Jeonguk pushed past Jungkook and into the room, his eyes fixed on Taehyung with an unnerving intensity.

Jungkook knew he had to act fast. He couldn't let Jeonguk hurt Taehyung. But as he turned to face his brother, he realized that Jeonguk was just the tip of the iceberg. A dark secret from their past was lurking in the shadows, waiting to strike.

Jeonguk's eyes seemed to bore into Taehyung's soul, and Jungkook could feel the tension escalating. He knew he had to intervene before things got out of control.

"Jeonguk, stop this," Jungkook commanded, his voice firm but laced with a hint of desperation. "Whatever grudge you hold, it's not worth hurting innocent people."

Jeonguk's smile grew wider, his eyes glinting with a sinister light. "Innocent people? You mean like our family, Jungkook? Like our parents, who favored you over me?"

Jungkook's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with memories he had long suppressed. "That's not true, Jeonguk. Our parents loved us both equally."

Jeonguk's laughter sent chills down Jungkook's spine. "Equally? You were the golden child, Jungkook. I was just the spare. And when I tried to fight for attention, they silenced me. They made me feel like I was nothing."

Taehyung's voice broke the silence, his eyes fixed on Jeonguk with a mix of fear and compassion. "Jeonguk, I'm so sorry. But hurting others won't bring you the validation you seek."

Jeonguk's gaze snapped to Taehyung, his eyes blazing with anger. "You think you understand me? You think you can fix me? I'll show you what it means to be broken, Taehyung. I'll show you what it means to be me."

Jungkook knew he had to act fast. He couldn't let Jeonguk's twisted past consume them all. With a fierce determination, he stepped forward, his eyes locked on his twin brother.

"Jeonguk, stop this. Now. Before it's too late."

But Jeonguk just laughed, his eyes glinting with a madness that made Jungkook's blood run cold.

Chapter 23: Confronting the Past

Jeonguk's laughter echoed through the room, his eyes blazing with a manic intensity. Jungkook knew he had to act fast, before his twin brother's twisted plans unfolded.

"Jeonguk, listen to me," Jungkook pleaded, his voice firm but laced with a hint of desperation. "Whatever pain you're carrying, I'm here for you. Let's work through this together."

But Jeonguk just shook his head, his smile growing wider. "You don't get it, Jungkook. You never did. I'm not hurting, I'm healing. And Taehyung here is the key to my redemption."

Taehyung's eyes widened in fear as Jeonguk's gaze locked onto him, his eyes burning with an unnerving intensity.

"No, Jeonguk," Jungkook growled, his fists clenched at his sides. "You're not going to hurt him. Not while I'm here."

Jeonguk's laughter grew louder, his eyes glinting with a madness that made Jungkook's blood run cold.

"Oh, but I am, Jungkook. I am. And you can't stop me."

With a sudden movement, Jeonguk lunged at Taehyung, his hands grasping for the photographer's throat. Jungkook reacted instinctively, tackling his twin brother to the ground.

The two brothers wrestled, their bodies locked in a fierce struggle. Taehyung watched in horror, his eyes fixed on the twins as they fought for dominance.

But as they rolled across the floor, Jungkook realized that he was no match for Jeonguk's rage. His twin brother was consumed by a darkness that Jungkook couldn't fathom.

Just as Jeonguk's hands closed around Jungkook's throat, a loud crash echoed through the room. The lights flickered, and the air was filled with the acrid smell of smoke.
