Jungkook's eyes were red and swollen, his face contorted in anguish. He couldn't believe his brother was gone. He had always loved Jeonguk, but he had never told him openly. Now, it was too late.

Taehyung held him tight, tears streaming down his own face. "I'm so sorry, Jungkook. I'm so sorry I couldn't save him."
Jungkook's grip tightened around Taehyung. "You did everything you could, Taehyung. It's not your fault. It's mine. I should have told him how I felt. I should have been there for him more."
Taehyung's voice was barely audible. "You loved him, Jungkook. He knew that. He loved you too, in his own way."
Jungkook's cries grew louder, his body wracked with pain. "But I never told him! I never got to say goodbye! Oh, Jeonguk, my brother, my dear brother..."
Taehyung held him for hours, letting Jungkook cry out his grief. Finally, exhausted, Jungkook slumped against Taehyung, his eyes empty, his heart shattered.
"I can't live without him, Taehyung," Jungkook whispered, his voice barely audible. "He was my only family."
Taehyung's tears fell like rain as he held Jungkook close. "You're not alone, Jungkook. I'm here for you. We'll get through this together."
But Jungkook just shook his head, his eyes filled with a deep despair. "I'll never be the same, Taehyung. I'll never be whole again."
Days passed, but Jungkook's pain didn't subside. He went through the motions, attending Jeonguk's funeral, receiving condolences, but his heart remained heavy.
One day, while wandering aimlessly, Jungkook found himself at the park where he and Jeonguk used to play. He collapsed on a bench, overwhelmed by memories.

Taehyung appeared beside him, silently offering a comforting presence. Jungkook broke down again, tears flowing like a river.
"Why did he leave me, Taehyung? Why did he give up?" Jungkook pleaded, his voice cracking.
Taehyung's eyes filled with tears. "Jeonguk was in a dark place, Jungkook. He was struggling to find his way out. We all tried to help, but sometimes...sometimes it's too late."
Jungkook's gaze fell to the ground, his voice barely audible. "I should have been there for him more. I should have saved him."
Taehyung's grip on Jungkook's shoulder tightened. "You did everything you could, Jungkook. Don't blame yourself. Jeonguk's path was his own, and we can't change the past."
Jungkook's tears continued to fall, but Taehyung's words slowly sank in. He realized that he couldn't change the past, but he could honor Jeonguk's memory by living for the present and future.
With a newfound determination, Jungkook stood up, wiping away his tears. "You're right, Taehyung. I need to keep moving forward, for Jeonguk and for myself."
Taehyung smiled, a hint of hope in his eyes. "That's the spirit, Jungkook. We'll face the future together, one step at a time."
