"So, here's what's going to happen.'' I straightened at her tone. God, I love when she gets bossy. Hayley turns, squinting her eyes at me in thought for a moment.

"You are sharing a room with me." I love my life. She points at me quickly before turning to Liam. "And you are taking Lucas's spot on the couch."

"Hey, why do I get the couch?" Liam complains.

"Would you rather sleep with me?" I would. I very much would.

"Are you offering?" He smiles.

"No"

"No" My deep tone is hidden beneath Hayles voice as we both answer. My brother throws himself onto the couch in defeat.

"I'm just going to go and see what we have for dinner. You two can..catch up?" Hayley escaped the living room into the kitchen, leaving me with Liam alone.

The awkward silence thickens as the endless seconds tick by. I'm going to have to talk to him. He is my brother after all.

"So, how long are you staying for?" I drag out the sentence. The couch dips when I lower myself on it. "I just got here and you're already kicking me out?" Liams smirk widens. "Even if I wanted to, Hayley would kill me."

"She really has grown up, huh?" Liam's change of conversation doesn't go unnoticed. But we'll come back to that. "Yeah, we missed a lot before." My brother's hum of approval drifts in the air as none of us speak.

"Liam, are you okay with Chinese? We haven't gone shopping." Hayley asks as she walks back into the living room.

"Yes, that's fine. Thanks, Hayls." Liam throws a wink over his shoulder at Hayley before turning his attention to his phone. I push off the couch stepping into Haley's room.

Lucas: Our room, now.

I lay on Hayley's bed waiting until she read my message. After a minute the door squeaks open loudly, and I jump off the bed before Hayley even makes it into the room fully.

"So, it's our room no- '' Her joke is interrupted when I cradle her face in my large palms, pressing my lips to hers. I slip my tongue between the opening of her soft lips but before I even get a second to taste her sweet lips she pulls away.

"What are you doing?" Hayley pants out the question in between kisses against my lips. I kiss her harder for a moment. "I" Sloppy kiss trails her jaw. "Missed" My tongue gently flattens against the center of her neck until I gently suck. A whimper leaves her mouth just as I move on to the other side of her neck. "You"

"You missed me?" Her question comes out more of a whimper than a sentence. "Of course I did." I don't stop cherishing her as I speak.

"I've been avoiding you at work." Hayleys confession encourages me. "I've noticed sweetheart, it drives my fucking crazy. You drive me crazy." She finds my lips again this time taking control with our kiss. Her hands tangle in my hair as she leads me lying flat on the bed.

Hayley covers me quickly right as the knock on the door interrupts us. "Foods here." I groan as she leaves me alone on the bed.

The sway of her ass teases me as she walks out the door and I fumble to follow behind her. When we reached the living room, I could see Liam with a crumbled paper bag in his hand walking to the table.

"Mm thank god I was starving." Liam moans as he tears the bag open.

"I am too." I stare at Hayley as I speak and throw a wink at her.

The three of us seat into the seats as we all take our share of the takeout, Liam taking more than me and Hayley combined.

"So where are you guys taking me tonight?" He speaks as he chews on his mouth full of food.

"No where you're staying here." I grumble.

"C'mon little bro you don't have anything fun to do around here?"

"No."

"Actually, there might be, Rosie has been talking about this party tomorrow. We could go if you guys want." Hayley adds. Oh Hayley, beautiful Hayley would you say that!

"God bless Rosie." He pauses. "Who's Rosie again?"

"She's my best friend, and she knows the best party spots." She brags.

"I already like her." Liam smiles as he takes another bite.

"So should I text her?" Her glossy green eyes meet mine.

"Do you want to go?" I sigh as I ask.

"I mean yeah, it could be fun."

"Then we'll go."

"You can even invite Viki, and I'll invite charlotte." Hayley quickly says before picking up her plate and going to the kitchen.

"Who's Viki?" My painfully annoying brother questioned.

"No one." My icy tone shuts him up.

"She's a friend of Lucas." Hayley adds in as she takes in a fork full of food in her mouth, looking in the other direction.

"Oh, baby brother has a girlfriend I don't know about huh?" Liam gives me a mischievous grin.

"She is not my girlfriend." I growl.

After we finish our plates, me and Hayley gather together in the kitchen. Hayley trashes the containers and slumps against the counter. Walking around the island to her side I pulled her up to full size.

"What's wrong sweetheart?" I asked gently.

"How are we all going to stay here?" Her sentence cracks as she melts into the shape of my embrace.

"It's going to be okay; we'll make it work." I lift her chin as our eyes meet. "I promise."
